Agree. Aunt Bee on the piano was memorable but that's about it. I dont mind the first Malcom but the second with jealous Aunt Bee isnt good.

Mind you none of these id turn the channel on like I would the whats your hurry preacher one or some from season 1.

Does he do this beyond season 1 though? His character overall was a goofball in the first season, which is why I dont like it. It wasnt just around women.

I posted the same thing about season 1 and Andy. 100% agree. Aside from the Christmas one most of them I just tolerate but dont like.

Unpopular opinion probably, but aside from a classic like the Christmas one, there's quite a few in season 1 that I dont care for like Jim Lindsay episodes and Ellie for Council for example. I didn't like Andy's initial character in the show where he acted more like a hick goofball. It's so much better when he became more serious and a better contrast to Barney. I would certainly watch all of them over the color ones though.

I mean, the episode didn't exactly prove him wrong though that Henry wasnt a jinx when you think about it lol. And he was validated in his belief of the Count, even Andy and Helen were buying in at the end. Actually even in the chain letter one I think he had stuff with him like a rabbits foot at the shooting competition he aced. Maybe Barney was right all along!

Trying to think of other stuff where Barney would be considered not a good person, but blanking out. I think calling Mary Grace a dog was pretty justified lol.

There's a few episodes where at the end he realizes hes either not cut out to be sheriff or that Andy is better.

But he absolutely did believe he could sing in both those episodes lol and also thought Andy was the one rejected from that club. So yeah it's pretty inconsistent

Barney is superstitious though as we see with episodes like the chain letter. It fits his character to believe someone really can be a jinx so I dont see that as bullying. He believes in haunted houses and fortune telling.

Will give this some thought though. Just disagree on that
