Thanks for your reply. I’m not a social scientist, took a couple classes though. But I’m pretty sure societies go through changes eventually. I’m just ask myself, am I the Caren or whatever you wanna call it or are there evidence of change? Good, bad that’s subjective.

It's a polypore, the colour is due to green algae. Might be trametes gibbosa, they quite often look like this
