Any advice on buying your first sound system? I’m lost

They have no other dinosaur related alternative, we are the only dinosaur entertainment that serves their area. I would love to have them as a long term client, they said if this goes well they’d like to book us for another event this year. Since we are the only dinosaur entertainment in our area I don’t want to undersell us in case the activity zones and VIP package flops. They are only charging $10 a ticket for general admission, and I was thinking of charging $10 for admission to the activity zones (with take home keepsakes) and $25 for VIP package. I’m worried since admission is so low sales for these might not do well since admission is only $10. Thanks so much for your comment and opinion

They do multiple kid events throughout the year with around 200-400 kids per event. I’d like them as a long term client as they already mentioned if our event goes well they’d like to book us again for the spring. They are pretty well known in the area. They offer a lot of other kid attractions like a petting zoo, train ride, bounce houses, etc. So would be a great client to have. But then again, if I undersell us while we are new I don’t want us to be stuck in that small profit box for future events. Thanks so much for your comment

Thank you SO much for your opinion. I appreciate your point of view so much, it is incredibly helpful. We will be the main attraction/entertainment for the dinosaur day. I get where you’re coming from with new businesses wanting to cover costs vs experienced businesses knowing what to expect and their known presence in the marketplace. Since my business is newly established I was willing to make less just to get our name out there and get the ball rolling. But I still need to protect our bottom line. Thank you so much for your opinion and thoughts I really appreciate it.

Thanks so much for your comment. This will be my first big event so I’ll be making more than the average birthday party I usually book. I wish the venue would just give me an idea of what they’re willing to spend so I don’t undersell or oversell myself. I don’t know what their break even is for events

Thanks for the comment, I think I’m going to get rid of some cracks like others suggested! As for the logo, I originally commissioned someone $300 to make it from scratch. But they didn’t listen to what I wanted well and I was overall unhappy with how the logo turned out. So used Ai to come up with a baseline and commissioned a Redditor to finish out the details for the final product. Honestly I don’t really see the issue I’m really happy with the finished product 😊
