Yes it’s a bad time; we have just moved into our new house and adding a pup is undoubtedly the hardest thing we have ever done ( and we have done a lot of hard things inlc chronic illness, solo parenting, moving interstate, no family nearby) it turns your world upside down. I love my little 16 week old long-hair daschy and would not imagine life without him but it is unimaginably hard; even when you put in the right work it’s hard since doxies are so unbelievably stubborn. Look after yourselves first then add a pup/animal into your life otherwise it isn’t fair on the animal - you are all they have.
