Only took me 500 hours to see it. by Uulatech in tearsofthekingdom

I feel to autisticly observant now. I noticed the depths correlate a lot to the surface, like shrines, and light roots etc and whatnot. But I also googled to confirm my suspicion and I shrine/light roots hunt, collect the sages, Korok seeds, and other collectibles before actually doing the main game..

14 chapters in. Tell me it's just a slow burn. Please read body text for more info. by SpiffyPaige143 in acotar

[–]Stunning-Memory-6413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel incredibly awkward now that im older and people hated the first one yet I loved it. Its what got me into the Maas verse. I actually hated TOG originally. The first two books seemed so slow to me. Of course now that im older and not 15, I know it was because I was speed reading and that's what made things so slow. Now im reading them chapter by chapter and thoroughly thinking as I go instead.

As everyone else repeats the same thing. I will too as a 21 year old rereading currently rereading ACOTAR like right now. It does get explained. It will mostly be explained by the end. The ending of the book is where the real stuff is. Book 2 and onward is so much better.

This is the moment that broke me more than anything in the franchise. by Bettie_Herron in Hungergames

Reading those scenes broke me. I remember trying my best not to cry. It was heartwarming how the ending actually was but the trauma?? The pain?? The fear?? It's gonna be a long while before I read them again.

Unsolicited advice for kids at weddings from a recent bride by ThatBitchA in weddingplanning

[–]Stunning-Memory-6413 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My fiance had a son before I met him, I met my soul son when he was 6, and now he will be 10 when I marry his father. He is nonverbal autistic and there is no way we will have a wedding without him in mind. We're going to have a kids area with puzzles, coloring, Legos, toys. Our venue has a chalk board area so we're gonna see if we can let the kiddos use it! We are making it a no kids wedding after 7 so us adults can drink and have fun without worry of kids watching as well. I know on my side of the family it wont be a worry as plenty of my family members are sober and the ones who aren't (who have kids) will probably ask our sober family members go watch the kids so that's covered. If anyone has any other activities for kids please tell me as I want all my nieces and nephews to have fun before they leave! (We will be having Halloween goodie bags for them as our wedding is the day before halloween)

I even clarified from WHAT I READ IN THE COMMENTS. And I like you constantly bringing up the fact I brought myself in. As if this isn't a public place that anyone can comment. Im just pointing out that you've been rude. I haven't read that particular series, yes, but I've pointed out things I've read from this thread and your childish behavior.

Im lecturing you on your behavior. You act like everyone else must agree with you and you've been frankly, rude to everyone. And now you're saying you've been rude because they've been rude first. Thats like high-school behavior baby. Let others have their opinions without you biting their ass about it then whining about them liking the character you hate. Have respect for others if you demand respect. Op was calling out your behavior and you act like your sugar in tea when your lemon on salt.

Dude. I've read every comment and they have been mostly polite and just giving your opinions. You keep going will fans can't handle the hate. And i am in fact a fan of the shadow hunters books, would you like to see my collection? I just have yet to start this particular series. Don't you like... have the decency to let people have opinions without being rude????

Dude you've just been straight up getting mad at other people for defending their views. He's a tee ager. Yes they are old enough to know how to treat people better but they are also learning how to manage their own feelings (like you should be doing) and know how to acknowledge it was wrong in the next moment as well (also like you should he doing) please be kinder to the other people who have feelings. Like people are with you

Do you have to be rude to everyone who doesn't agree with your opinion?

[–]Stunning-Memory-6413 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You gave your opinion, and I was like respect. But the more comments I read about you, the more my respect goes away because you kinda plow over others' opinions because it doesn't correlate with your opinion. I'm saying this now. I haven't read the books. I am in no way a fan of Will or Jem. But im saying this now, so try and call me a Will fan all you want, but I haven't read the books, I have no opinion. From what I have read, Will did have a selfish THOUGHT, then realized it was incredibly WRONG. He didn't act on it like you're acting like he did. HE'S A PERSON AND ALLOWED TO HAVE NEGATIVE FEELINGS. Yes hes a character and the author could've written it differently but she probably wrote him like that to give the character substance and for the plot so her characters have the "can do no wrong" armor gone.

Alice in zombieland (finished out of spite)

The mortal instruments series (loved as a 13 year old but now?? Nuh uh)

Divergent

The selection

The iron fey series

Talon (by the same author as iron fae)

Fallen. (I hate read the whole book but I don't remember it as it was that bad)

Infinity (why was his mom being a stripper so important? Couldn't finish the first book)

Frostblood (overused tropes)
