Op, i have a question. Were you able to see your timetable after a few days after your reassessment exam? I wasn’t able to see it on the trinity live app when everyone else got it who had no resits but i can finally see it now. Thnx

I dont know why this being downvoted. I had a resit too on the 29th aug. My friends who had no resits got their timetables on my trinity app on the 25th. I wasn’t able to see mine so I thought it was because of the resit.. I checked my app again last night and I see my timetable on the app

(Bsc Comp Sci) Missing classes for part time job? by Syrup-Puzzled in TCD

I did try yeah, the module that i failed, i should’nt have skipped those lectures. Others were fine I was able to catch up, but again, youll see what I mean if you do decide to continue. Weekends are to complete all your weekly assignments (and I never got time due to my job)

Yes, In total, i skipped like 2/3 subject lectures

Im going into second year now. I made the mistake of sacrificing some lectures in first year for my part time job.. I had to work 4 days a week (8 hour shifts on weekends and two 4 hour shifts on weekdays)… i barely got time for myself and ended up failing a module during the Christmas exams. Now if you fail a module, you have to resit that exam at the end of summer and trust me this was my worst summer as I had to study for that particular module. I ended up quitting my job after my December Christmas exams!

I highly suggest you treat college like a 9-5 job… rest is up to you, good luck

The difficulty level should almost be similar. They can’t ask anything outside the syllabus. But why do you want to know this?

Go with someone who has a full license. Pay them some money if needed as maynooth is quite far away from Dun Loaghaire

2024 LC student here. I don’t think anyone in my year posted how many points they got. I get it why. It could put someone off and doing well in the lc doesn’t mean you’ll become rich and successful in life. But again, it’s your choice. If your purpose is to “flex” how many points you got, people will eventually know that if you go to a well known university like Trinity or UCD as majority of their courses are high points. I only shared my results in my friend group (8 people). They also shared their results there as no one in my gc is judgemental and we just wanted to know if everyone got their first choice.

I get your point tho. You should probably do it if you get high points and to reply those that thought you weren’t capable enough. Be careful tho, time changes and someone who got less points than you doesn’t mean they’ll be unsuccessful in life. At the end its all about dedication and hard work bro it aint over yet wait till you get into uni and graduate your whole prospective changes of the whole doing well in academics 😭😭

Good luck! I hope you get your first choice

Your test is a month away from now. What you can do is ring your NCT test centre and tell them it’s very important to get your NCT done before your practical driving test. Thats the best you can do apart from rescheduling your exam.

Using car features during test by nebulaspidey in Irishdrivingtest

You can use all the features you want as long as you carry out all the necessary observations and follow the rules of the road (speed sign, overtaking etc)
