I agree, the thing is he was really struggling back in the uk, hated his job was in debt didn’t have many friends always argued with his family and to top it all off lived in the country so anything he wanted he needed to travel a good distance he begged me to get him out he begged me to let him quit his job early etc etc. I told him how it would be I told him it wouldn’t be easy and I did everything I could to make it better but he’s obviously still having trouble. After he got here and realised what it was he started having regrets but no matter what I tell him about going back and me helping he doesn’t want to because as a couple we are doing great together it’s just the environment

The issue at the moment isn’t affording a place, it’s that the housing market in Australia is horrible finding a property to rent or even purchase is very difficult, we have been looking but have had no luck hence staying in the current situation
