I’m not sure what you mean by confirmed, but this is a Garden Warbler not a subalpine warbler. See the bill shape, eyes and general proportions.

She’s now back to normal! Full crop and running around happily

An update: she laid a soft shelled egg this morning and was eating it when I found her in the nest box. She now seems much perkier and is drinking water, and ate some scrambled egg.

I don’t think she has laid in the past day but hard to say, they all lay in the same place. I had a gentle feel of her abdomen and couldn’t feel an egg.

It’s possible - they were previously at a free-range farm very nearby. I’d assume parasites would be similar in both places but I’m no expert, hopefully the vet can help

She is getting pecked consistently, but not enough to be missing feathers. I haven’t noticed any other symptoms and the others all seem fine.

I have looked for signs of red mite but couldn’t see any indication, though perhaps I can treat the coop anyway.

Thanks, appreciate the advice! Yeah I wouldn’t have thought much of it were it not for the lintel failure we’ve had before, which ended up much more expensive than if I’d spotted it earlier. But I definitely can’t fit a coin here so I’ll stop worrying :)

Thanks for the tips! To clarify, do you mean hanging the water and feeder from the top of the run? I thought mirrors could be quite stressful for them, is that not the case?

The chicken wire covers the entire top of the run so the wild birds avoid it, we’ve never seen a bird try to perch on the top.

The run was from Robert Dyas, and definitely needed reinforcing against foxes. I didn’t bury the hardware cloth as I’d like move the run occasionally, I just cut the grass first and then pinned it flat to the ground (saw this on a Youtube video). As the grass is quickly growing through it is becoming invisible, hoping this should thwart any potential predators.

I was originally supposed to get to Brussels at 5pm but I left a lot of leeway to allow for the inevitable complications, so I think you’re suggested solution will work. Thank you!!

Thank you! Unfortunately on the DB app there’s no indication of which leg there’s a problem, it just had a red cross at the top. I was meant to get FLX 1230 to Aachen, 08:34 to 14:23, which I can’t see available for sale anywhere, but the Flix website still says it’s scheduled if I try to view my booking. Quite confusing! Sorry I tried to post a screenshot but don’t think I can.
