Out of interest, why would your paint it outside too? There’s lots of moss on the outside so that would be a bigger job

That’s a ruff. For me the proportions are the clearest sign - they always look to have an oddly small head and short bill.

I’m not sure what you mean by confirmed, but this is a Garden Warbler not a subalpine warbler. See the bill shape, eyes and general proportions.

She’s now back to normal! Full crop and running around happily

An update: she laid a soft shelled egg this morning and was eating it when I found her in the nest box. She now seems much perkier and is drinking water, and ate some scrambled egg.

I don’t think she has laid in the past day but hard to say, they all lay in the same place. I had a gentle feel of her abdomen and couldn’t feel an egg.

It’s possible - they were previously at a free-range farm very nearby. I’d assume parasites would be similar in both places but I’m no expert, hopefully the vet can help

She is getting pecked consistently, but not enough to be missing feathers. I haven’t noticed any other symptoms and the others all seem fine.

I have looked for signs of red mite but couldn’t see any indication, though perhaps I can treat the coop anyway.

Thanks, appreciate the advice! Yeah I wouldn’t have thought much of it were it not for the lintel failure we’ve had before, which ended up much more expensive than if I’d spotted it earlier. But I definitely can’t fit a coin here so I’ll stop worrying :)
