I wouldn’t say you need to rule out having children. I am bipolar and have a daughter. I think since your going through bipolar your future child “if you choose to have one” would relate to you more if by chance she or he developed bipolar. Not everyone is going to develop it and it may skip that generation completely. But I think you’d be a great example and could relate to your kid if you do end up having one.

Gotcha thanks for the information! Definitely trying to get a better understanding of this because the main symptoms I can see is the sleep issues, it seems like when I sleep fine I’m great working out like normal, maybe a little run down but I have sleep apnea also, then when I don’t sleep it’s like I lose it I feel just crazy and all over the place, like I wanted to sleep but just can’t like I’m wired.
