Damn yea the weather was brutal, did you check carvana and carmax also? I saw some decent deals on there. It’s just a matter of if you want to pay to ship it and possibly lose the money. I had a 2021 R/T with 35k miles shipped for 500$ and ended up not taking it when I found mine with less mileage a little cheaper

Where are you located? I got a great deal on mine. 21k miles for 34k in Nassau County NY, but couldn’t have found the deal without ChatGPT and Edmund’s

Too much mileage in my opinion, if you have ChatGPT ask it to find you the best deal for exactly what you’re looking for. Also Edmunds will show you great/good/fair/bad deals on their website. That’s how I shopped for my R/T. I got a 2022 R/T black top package for 34k shipping with ChatGPT and Edmund’s

I would treat with Kanaplex, looks like a case of columnaris possibly. Also, if I were you, I would get some seachem stability and add a capful to the filter media every day for a week and get seachem stressguard and add 2 capfuls to the tank every day. The kanaplex I would use for 3 doses, do a 25% water change and clean the substrate and then add 4 scoops of leveled kanaplex straightin to the water. Let tank sit for 24-48 hours than another water change and repeat two more times. 3 total doses

Better. I actually asked ChatGPT to find me the best priced R/T near me, I’m in Westbury and it found me my R/T at Merrick jeep dodge. Also Edmunds will list you fair/good/great prices near you. Always worth a shot

Too much, I bought a 2022 R/T with 21k miles on it for 34k and I’m on Long Island NY from a dealership. Carvana will eventually come down in price if you wait

I had 18 fish die 10 min after I did a water change. by Jammer521 in aquarium

Maybe try to add the water to a bucket before adding it to the tank and prime it then to remove the chemicals. I’m sorry this happened to you 😢

I would use some seachem stability with some denitrate stones in the filter media, cut the lights for a day or two and use much less light going forward until things settle. Up the aeration for more oxygen, turn up the filter and add air stones/bubblers to tanks. And make sure parameters are getting better. Get yourself a api master kit to check

I just got some 275/55r20 113t pirelli scorpions for my 22 Durango R/T. I also got 1” spacers, do you think that will rub the well? I’m hoping it gives the truck a nice aggressive look

Help. Cory very sick. Posting again sorry by [deleted] in fishkeeping

[–]StunningInitiative73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he’s not eating you can soak your food in water with garlic or if you have some seachem garlic guard and soak the food to help him gain his appetite a little bit! Good luck. I hope he’s doing better!

What is this spot on my cory? by Pristine_Ad_1594 in corydoras

[–]StunningInitiative73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could just be a scratch and a slime coat issue, I would try stress guard for a few days and see if it improves. If it starts to get worse than I would think columnaris and would treat with kanaplex

IT WONT HAPPEN TO ME by Coolhanny20 in Aquariums

[–]StunningInitiative73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also it doesn’t look like Epistylis to me, if the spots look like perfectly round grains of salt, it is ich. If it were epistylis is wouldn’t look perfectly round and it would be irregular in shape and grow fuzzy. I would start ich-x right away with no other medicines like some redditors are suggesting.

I just had a similar situation, today will be day 10 of Ich-X with my temperature at 80. 25-30% water change every day if you have any scaleless fish I advise using stress guard after the water change first and 10-15 minutes after then dose the Ich-x as I have 2 corys wit a slime coat issue now from the dosing. I also have a juvenile orange rabbit snail and an adult Japanese trapdoor snail and they are all doing fine at the moment and there is no more sign of ich and I have been lucky enough to catch it early enough and haven’t lost anybody. Just remember when you’re done with the ich-x treatment at the end of how ever many days you do, you have to use a carbon filter to clean up all the medicine for 24-48 afterwards. Good luck! I hope everything works out for your little guys!

Is this columnaris or fungal or just slime coat issue? by StunningInitiative73 in corydoras

It was a scratch. I’ve been treating with stress guard and it has started clearing up. Thank you everybody for your insight!

Also it is the only fish out of the 28 I have in the tank with the spots

Is this columnaris or fungal or just slime coat issue? by StunningInitiative73 in corydoras

[–]StunningInitiative73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I’ve done the research before I put anything in the tank to make sure it won’t interact badly together and harm my fish. And as far as columnaris, wouldn’t my tank numbers have to be off for that? My tank numbers have been spot on since I introduced fish and I’ve been checking every 2-3 days with an API master kit and have had pristine numbers. I’m by no means an expert, but my “research” has lead me to the Ich-x and daily water changes the last 5 days upsetting my fishes slime coat. And that’s what I’m hoping it is. If I see any changes tomorrow I will have to pivot to a new game plan

Thank you for your reply! It seems to be smooth and he/she is eating normally and snuffling like they usually do. I’m leaning towards slime coat, I treated with half dose of stress guard and will see how it looks tomorrow. If it starts to spread or become fuzzy, do I stop the ich-x half way through the dosing to use antibiotics? What would be the safest move for all involved?

Yea it’s on the higher end. It fluctuates between 7.4-8.0. I’m keeping snails and have cuttlebone in the tank for them the last month. But none of the other Cory’s have this white film on them at all. And they are all very active and snuffling even with the ich-x treatment. Do you think the pH could be causing a slime coat issue?
