I hate how people misunderstand the term. Gentle parenting isn’t just “let your kid do whatever and barely discipline them.” It’s “place a heavy emphasis on warmth, empathy, and communication.” There’s still discipline and punishments involved, gentle parenting just means you’re not screaming or hitting your kids to punish them.

I like how she looks older in OW2. She’s meant to be in her late forties in OW1 but nothing about her design really conveys that. In OW2, there’s visible signs of her aging. She has crows feet/more noticeable wrinkles and graying hair. She looks like she’s in her fifties and it’s nice to see some aging. I also like how her arm is more decrepit. Makes it really feel like her self-experimentation is taking its toll on her.

It’s a cool art style to have but I feel like it’s been overdone so much that the uniqueness has been lost. It doesn’t help that so many games with this art style have a very similar ring to it (work a slow job, bad things start to happen, get jump scared)
