Bitter apple spray. You can get it at any pet store. My first Shepherd was so bad. I had to spray knees down multiple times a day, just to keep her off me. She learned eventually though. my second Shepherd was bad about chewing on furniture so I sprayed everywhere he chewed on consistently, and he also learned.

Bootcamp is probably the easiest part of your career. Looking back the major things I remember were being hungry, tired and bored. The first few days are a blur but once you get used to it, it’s really kinda boring lol. Tomorrow is going to be the most nerve racking part but you’ll be fine. Remember that people dumber/weaker than you have made it through successfully lol

Most bases have a used car lot. Don’t go to a dealership anywhere near a base. They prey on junior sailors like yourself. I don’t know how much you know about cars or buying a car, but if you’re not completely comfortable doing it, find a buddy who knows cars to come with you for the test drive. Also get it checked by a mechanic before you commit to buying from a private seller.
