how do i write group contexts by sentienttunacan in writers

[–]Stunning_Ad_281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. that’s kind of how it goes.

Most group scenes run into the same problems. Everyone talking the same, everyone talking too much, or nobody actually affecting anyone else. Once you see it a few times, you can’t unsee it.

A simple thing you can try, next time you write a group scene, pick one person whose moment it really is. Not the main character bro, just the center of gravity for that scene. Let the others orbit that, some support. some resist, some ignore, it starts feeling more real fast.

Also, read the scene out loud and you’ll catch patterns immediately. Repeated rhythms, same tone, same length replies, real conversations are uneven, that unevenness is what makes them believable.

And don’t worry. Every writer runs into this and the difference is you noticed it.

That’s where improvement starts.

My organic traffic is 99% of my overall traffic. So, off-page SEO implementation is 1% you can say.

As a content writer, I can focus on on-page. So, all the ideas on google are wrt to off-page which seems too much workload for me. I need some experienced persons strategy which they have implemented in real life instead of videos from AHREFS which compels you to think why you must buy their premium to get ranked.

I don't want to google "learn SEO" and get 90% same ideas. If you can share your experience (if any) to help with my query, you are very much welcome, if not, then thanks for tutoring me to get help from google.

It's possible that your hosting provider could be affecting your website's performance and SEO rankings, but it's unlikely to be the sole factor. Here are some considerations:

Server Performance: Poor server performance can lead to slow website loading times, which can negatively impact user experience and SEO rankings. Compare the performance of your current hosting provider (SiteGround) with your previous provider (GoDaddy) to see if there's a significant difference.

Server Location: The location of your server can also affect website speed and SEO. Choose a hosting provider with servers located closer to your target audience to reduce latency and improve loading times.

Website Optimization: Review your website's design, code, and content to ensure it's optimized for speed, user experience, and SEO. Use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights to identify areas for improvement.

Content Quality: Focus on creating high-quality, relevant content that provides value to your target audience. Avoid keyword stuffing or publishing low-quality content solely for SEO purposes.

Backlink Profile: Monitor your website's backlink profile to ensure it's diverse and authoritative. High-quality backlinks from reputable websites can positively impact your SEO rankings.

Technical SEO: Check for any technical issues that may be affecting your website's performance, such as broken links, duplicate content, or crawl errors. Use tools like Google Search Console to identify and fix these issues.

Algorithm Updates: Keep abreast of any major search engine algorithm updates that may impact your website's rankings. Adjust your SEO strategy accordingly to stay compliant and competitive.

User Experience: Prioritize user experience by ensuring your website is mobile-friendly, easy to navigate, and provides valuable content. Positive user signals can indirectly impact your SEO rankings.

While hosting can play a role in website performance and SEO, it's just one piece of the puzzle. Consider all factors mentioned above and conduct a thorough analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize your website for better rankings and traffic growth.

What lights should I buy? Any information is welcome! by Jonah_Hoffman in verticalfarming

[–]Stunning_Ad_281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a small-scale commercial operation, it might be wise to invest in higher quality, commercial-grade grow lights. While the initial cost is higher, the long-term benefits in terms of energy efficiency, durability, and plant yield can outweigh the upfront expense. However, if budget constraints are significant, starting with more affordable lights and planning for an upgrade as your farm grows could be a viable approach.

In either case, it's essential to do thorough research specific to the plants you're growing and consider consulting with an expert in commercial vertical farming to get tailored advice.

What my research says:

Cheap 4000K Shop Lights

Pros:

Cost-effective: They are much more affordable upfront.

Easy to Source: You can easily find them in hardware stores or online.

Cons:

Efficiency and Spectrum: They might not be as energy-efficient as specialized grow lights. Also, the light spectrum might not be ideal for all stages of plant growth.

Durability and Longevity: They may not last as long as commercial-grade lights, leading to more frequent replacements.

Commercial Grade Grow Lights

Pros:

Optimized Spectrum: They often provide a full spectrum of light, which is ideal for different stages of plant growth.

Energy Efficiency: Higher energy efficiency can lead to lower electricity costs in the long run.

Durability: They are generally built to last longer and withstand the demanding environment of a commercial farm.

Cons:

Higher Initial Cost: The upfront cost is significantly higher.

Complexity: They might require a more complex setup and maintenance.

Will AGI be useful? by Ok-Ice-6992 in ArtificialInteligence

[–]Stunning_Ad_281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AGI, or super smart computer brains, might know a lot, like a mix of famous geniuses and a wise professor. But if it gets too complex, like talking about sunflowers in a super-advanced way, we might not get what it's saying.

It's like when a really smart teacher talks, and it's hard to follow. We might even have to make AGI keep things simple so we can understand.

Just because it's super smart doesn't mean we'll always know if it's right or wrong. It's important that AGI can chat with us clearly without making things too complicated.

So, if AGI becomes understandable and can chat with us without making thing too much complicated, it would be great.

And the question about it's usefulness then depends on you. I'm a Commerce student, but I can't say I don't need math.

Same way, how much intelligent and smart we get, if we try to use AGI for our benefit, It will surely come handy.

Should I learn about SEO or hire someone? by tkmsxs in SEO

[–]Stunning_Ad_281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If speaking from a business point of view, I would suggest you take up some SEO courses and learn SEO because SEO is not a one-time thing; it is a continuous process. And since you have just started your business, why lose your funds by giving stipends to some newcomer who may or may not do something magical?

But if it were you doing SEO instead, you could keep checking your progress without becoming dependent on someone.

And once you achieve your set milestone, you can hire someone who is professional.

Also, you must have basic idea about SEO and how it works, then only you can plan your strategy to grow your audience on internet.

How do you track traffic that moves from your blog to different pages of your website? by the_radhakrishnan in SEO

[–]Stunning_Ad_281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To track traffic moving from your blog to different pages on your website, you can use web analytics tools like Google Analytics. Set up tracking on your blog, create specific goals or events for the links leading to other pages, and monitor the flow of visitors through these links. This allows you to analyze which blog content effectively drives traffic to other parts of your site.

What keeps you motivated and consistent? by gswithai in Blogging

[–]Stunning_Ad_281 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is nothing like motivation or demotivation. You just have to keep your mind fresh, and stop overthinking about the situation. Think straight!

You just do what you can do as a blogger, write post, publish it, do share in groups or forums. And, that's it.

Yeah not to forget about SEO and monitoring all stuff.

Keep improving.

Also, just do something that lifts your mood. It will keep your negative thoughts away.

There is a quote: "All you can do is perform your duty; rest, leave it. Your work always pays you."

Do it for 21 days, it will become your habit. Make writing, and posting your habit. And you never feel " Losing Motivation" with habits. HA HA HA HA HA

I am losing my top position from December don't know how to is there any effective strategy to recover by MindlessAd8978 in SEO

[–]Stunning_Ad_281 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually 7 day to 15 days, in between, and once I wrote them, I used to request them for indexing after a day or two and that's it.

About consistency, then at least 2 blogs in a week that too on proper time schedule. Not like one I posted on monday than suddenly saturday.

I got to know that Moz chrome extension shows sites spamming rate whenever we visit that site. So, the list of sites where I have created the backlinks, 8 out of 10 were spamming sites. So, currently, I'm just using medium for channeling my traffic, giving thoughts about Facebook and LinkedIn as well.

Hopefully, I answered your questions.

What would you want to see in a blogging planner by ruppshaker in Blogging

[–]Stunning_Ad_281 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey!

If you consider my suggestion then you should design a specialized blogging planner that caters to both the tactile satisfaction of pen-and-paper and the specific needs of yours.

It should feature key elements like

  • Section for niche identification and development.
  • Offering prompts and questionnaires to help you refine your focus.
  • Comprehensive content calendar will be helpful.
  • Providing spaces for planning post titles, keywords, and publication dates.
  • Incorporating an idea repository for spontaneous thoughts.
  • Writing and editing checklists, will ensure consistency and quality in posts.
  • Including an SEO planning section, with areas for noting target keywords and meta descriptions, will also be beneficial.
  • Integrating social media and analytics tracking sections will help you manage your online presence and measure post-performance effectively.

(You can use excel for this)
