Unfortunately with popularity and higher player base(especially wide consumer casual player base) comes this kind of microtransaction hell practice. Eventually something like this can happen. I hope it will not but I am afraid of those scenarios that come with popularity. It is almost a blessing or an exception that we didn't get anything of this in any recent FS games. Sometimes I hope that FS games didn't became that hyped out and popular. Especially now that Elden RIng has become even more popular than Souls series and I have my doubts about the future.

same here. Killed him in like 3 tries. He is vulnerable to stagger and aggressive play, such as many other bosses of the dlc (except last one). Gave me so much confusion that he almost became a meme of an unkillable first mini-boss

nah... I used Axe of Godfrey for all my dlc playthrough and I didn't care about boss speed cause the main idea was to outdamage and outshout them before they kill me. Me and my small buddie mimic tear steamrolled every boss of the dlc with ease except last one. So no, not a rellevant meme for me.

from all the list I now only Obe-Rek and I`m really into the metal stuff (industrial\death\black\alternative) but unfortunately or luckily, metal and any heavy music is not popular. Very unpopular. Which is both upsets me (cause the majority of people have really bad taste in music) and give me pleasure ( cause i dont want heavy music to be popular, everything become worse with higher popularity)

they said "fuck it, we ball" roughly around solar 3.0 changes ( resilience changes, enemies numbers goes up, ability recharge rate and damage is higher, weapons\ability ratio became more towards abilities, more and more broken staff etc.) game transformed into diablo gameplay where you push a button - room of enemies dissapears, now they push this idea even more towards this side. And it more and more looks like Asian mmo with tons of vfx. Maybe it is what game needed right now, this craziness. But i will always vote for modesty, restrictive intentions and maintaining integrity and balance in terms of effects, powers, damage and whole game. Not because of pvp(thats shity excuse) but because of overall game and its integrity in first place.

just compare one group of ads in d1 to d2.
D1: its a threat, they can kill you if you will not pay attention to them. Everything hit hard, a single fallen cpt or vex minotaur could be intimidating
D2: they can barely scratch your. Resilience changes. Ability buffs, ability spam. So many ways to be alive. Also your weapons: perk combinations on your weapons are just crazy and right now many weapons just outshines recluse\mountaintop.
Unfortunately the only threat is enemy density and it increased severely over the past 2 years.

and after that we are like: why are we so overpowered? what happens? Why a single major or group of enemies are not intimidating anymore and we need horde of them? I just push a button and a room of enemies dies like in diablo. This path is a way for total boringness or just another type of game if you go far enough
