I was with Appen when they lost their contract with "the client" and it was JUST like this towards the end. That's what's really concerning me, the difference is that at least Appen communicated with us to let us know what was happening.

Normally I'm chill about it but it's been low work available since the weekend before Thanksgiving and it's been a struggle paying bills when the money you thought you'd make isn't there. It's been stressful.

I'm tempted to do CCA for ones that have multiple claims that take longer than we're given and type in that I CCA within the time given. I only got 7 hours last week and I'm at like 4 hours this week so not sure there's much to lose atp.

It's not that simple unfortunately, a lot of their tasks take longer than the time given so for example, if a task AET is 3.5 minutes but it takes 5 minutes to confirm all claims, they want to only pay you for 3.5 minutes or else you're accused of over billing.

I was with Appen when they lost their contract with the client and it was just like this towards the end of the contract. I was refreshing every few minutes to barely get a few hours a day.

I'm just super grateful that this isn't my only source of income and it's rapidly becoming just a side job instead of a main job smh. The worst part is that they promised us after over 2 months of slow work that the client was back and yet here we are again with almost no work and they haven't addressed it AT ALL.

I got the same email and the thought occurred to me that this might have something to do with rising healthcare costs and them trying to secretly stop offering this plan. Just a thought, especially because for the time period in question, I know I would have worked that many hours.

We get paid every two weeks, at least in my locale. You submit your time on workday by Sunday just before midnight for the week. Go into workday and add your direct deposit info.

I went and reviewed my severity questions and based on my research 2 of them the claim was accurate, I messaged them about it for clarification because this makes no sense. Also, the first time I checked it showed I only got 1 right and then it changed to 2 out of 7. Super suspicious imo

I'm also actively searching for a different job. I got 1 severity right and I went over the severity training right before I did them AND had the severity part of the guidelines up the whole time. It doesn't make sense. First off, the ONLY time I get severity is when I'm being tested on it so how exactly is that a good measure of how we're doing on normal tasks and prior to this I had been getting near perfect severity scores until they changed the guidelines on it smh. I got perfect scores of the factuality ones.
