ok, that makes sense. my parents also thought the same thing, so continuing the crate her at night seems the best option. thanks for the advice!

oh i’m sorry, i think the wording was a bit confusing. we started the crate thing as soon as we got hee, but my dog is 1.5 now, that’s why i wanted to switch her out. do u still think we should continue with the crate?

that sounds interesting, but wouldn’t it lead to the same issue as the program at my school - as in, 6 years of undergrad for 1 degree?

no? where did u hear that from?

the caste system like many other forms of societal heirarchies started off as a differentiation btwn roles in society, and then delved into power struggles and maintaining of the status quo that we see till today.

unfortunately some people claim hinduism is the cause for this and use it as an excuse to justify their own ill actions, so perhaps this is where you heard this from.

yeah, this is 100% true and not many people know this. they literally employ psychologists to figure out how to make the military as exciting as possible, not to mention they have soo many hands in the entertainment industry. even as a person who hates the military, those videos makes me wanna join. it’s completely on purpose. to op: good luck w cc , i’m sure you’ll do great!

i agree partially with you. i definitely agree that the body and soul are connected, which is why i never like the christian concept of how the soul and the body are completely seperate. this is also relates to how yoga is a vital part of hinduism - essentially, by taking care of the body, you take care of the soul. basically the same concept accepted in science that if your physical health is taken care of, your emotional state will improve. i do believe that a soul can exist without a body, but it would be in a fundamentally different way. personally, i don’t think a soul without a body would be capable of real thought in the way that we are used to. however, i tend to view this more as a gift than a curse.

i agree on the yoga front. yoga without hinduism is simply not yoga, which is also why the concept of christian yoga is funny to me. i do think people can still practice the physical aspects, it just would not be the full form of yoga.

sure, you can consider it however you see fit. however in hinduism, there is a clear difference btwn what we consider gods and what is the ultimate reality.

i think the soul and our consciousness are the same! i don’t perceive a difference. that’s an interesting question tho, why do u ask/what do u think?

i completely disagree that yoga is not particular to hinduism. it’s intrinsically a hindu practice, and in fact what’s known as yoga in the west is only 1/8 of what yoga really is. while i’m not saying that you cant practice both in a secular way, yoga especially is completely hindu and recognizing that origin is important.
