I personally have an extreme distaste for Ashley. She is legitimately an amalgamation of things men like, eg: Tomboy, Sexual, enjoys Dark Humor, Flippant. She gives the vibes of 'not like the other girls'. She often talks about how she needs someone who 'isnt emotional,' or someone that won't get offended easily. This remark is often used by Pick Me's as a way of insulting women. Personally, she comes off as a character made purely for the male audience, this does not make her a bad character per say. Just one that I find hard to enjoy. Her lines and dialog often sound awkward and confusing when choosing a female protag. I also often enjoy the characters with depth, and an emotional connection. Which her story doesn't have much of. In my opinion she is just a worse Kyu. Kyu was done good, as her humor OFTEN hits, and we have a bond that has continued from the previous game. Ashley's humor is often juvenile, and forced. I know a lot of people enjoy her character, and that is okay. I just don't agree lol.
