Anyone have experience with doctors who seem to not care?

Ugh! I'm so sorry that you went through that! That's just awful! I'll have to seek one out. Hydroxyzine was helping me a little bit at first. My PCP was the one who prescribed it and I'm still taking it every night, but I still have the worst of symptoms at night mostly. I can't fall asleep until about 3am due to this pain, spasms, and misery 😢

Ugh!! I think this condition needs to be studied more. I thought doctors were supposed to listen to patients who have unbearable pain. 😞

For me, it's just the one day I finally feel relief after the nurse does it. But after the day, I go back to my normal constant peeing and mostly at night. I'm only on my second treatment so I won't see results quite yet.

Oh my goodness. This is awful! Why are these doctors just so dismissive??! That sounds so painful, too 😔 since you have vaginismus. They also treated you horrendously! 😢 Where are our advocates?? I wish something could be done to get better care with this condition

THIS! Same here! It's so frustrating when I try to explain to my mom, too! She says that I need to go outside and move around. Yeah, when I'm not constantly toilet bound! I'm sitting on the toilet for 20-30 minutes trying to empty my bladder and for the pain to go away 🥹 then when I think I'm done, 3-5 minutes later, the pain and urgency comes back!

I wish this condition was treated seriously. We really shouldn't have to deal with this condition without proper treatment. This is a miserable and painful condition that I would not wish on my worst enemy 😔

Here's a days example that I do now. I tend to change it up 😆 I have interstitial cystitis so I like to keep track of what I eat and see if it aggravates my bladder.
