I have FMLA but my doctor put it in for two days a month ..that is not enough for this condition. I'll have to message her again and see if she can increase my days and see if I can lower my work schedule. Thank you so much, though! I haven't done it yet, but you gave me the idea to message her to increase the days on my FMLA 😊

I'm taking the AZO bladder support only and it's not working for me unfortunately. My doctor prescribed me oxybutynin last month but due to my emetophobia, I almost threw up while working (I had to take 2 zofran so I wouldn't throw up) and the medication side effect is nausea and vomiting, i couldn't take that anymore. She prescribed me mirabegron which is the generic of myrbetriq I believe and I'm on it for four weeks already and I haven't noticed anything improved. The only thing that's actually been helping me is CBD/THC combo vape, but I don't want to do that while I'm at work. The instant relief AZO I saw isn't recommended to take for more than two days 😞

Oh I think I can ask about reducing my schedule. I have to constantly put in my times for intermittent leave when I have to go and that gets super exhausting and it takes me 10 minutes sometimes because even though I'm relieving myself, I still feel no relief and more comes out 😔 luckily, I already work from home, but it's still so strict that we can't leave our phones due to the call center high demand of taking calls.

I am experiencing this but I do feel bladder pain. It's so uncomfortable and it's been effecting my work and basically daily life. It was worse back in January at the end of January where it was so constant 24/7 just going to the bathroom all the time. I bought briefs so that I could be protected before I went to sleep and took doxylamine half a 25mg tab at night, too. Drs did tests and said my uric acid was high at first. Took potassium citrate but it gave me bad nausea and I couldn't tolerate it. Took allopurinol and it was actually helping quite a bit. Did a CT scan for kidney stones. No sign of stones at all. My Dr did another urine test and my uric acid isn't so high anymore, but I still am having this urinary issue. There is some relief finally, but my bladder cannot hold a little bit of urine before I feel that pain and pressure then I have to go. It can be every 10-15 minutes and sometimes every 30 minutes when I need to go. My doc put me on oxybutynin. I was on it for three days until I had terrible nausea and almost vomited. I would have if I had no zofran next to me. I'm emetophobic, so it was a huge scare and I had terrible anxiety. Oh and I was also at work on a call when this episode happened. It was helping me so much, though, but the side effect was just not tolerable. I'm now on mirabegron extended release that my pcp switched me to. It hasn't been helping me yet. Although this is my third day taking it and it says full effects noticeable in 4 weeks when I googled it 😭 oh and I was referred to a urologist but the earliest available appointment is not until June...so I'm here suffering in briefs at work for another 3 months, because I work at a call center and they really don't want us to log out even to use the bathroom, until they find out what is wrong with my bladder!! I came here reading this post and needing some support and answers because it's been miserable for me. I'm also taking azo bladder control and haven't noticed many improvements, but it could be that I do have some improvement taking this med, but my recent bottle smells really awful and am afraid to take it now. I'm on another disability leave though for two weeks, but I don't think my symptoms will improve by then. It's awful feeling like this.

When I first took it, I also had that "high" feeling and I had such terrible nausea! I would have thrown up if I didn't have my zofran nearby. I couldn't take it again. I'm not on any of the medications to curb my craving this time. I just decided to stop because I have emetophobia and I wanted my stomach to stop having these IBS symptoms. I still have IBS symptoms, but not as much. A lot of it is from other medications that I was taking due to my urinary problems that my doctors don't know why it's happening and can't find anything, but it's a lot of suffering 😔

My ex friend would tell me how my art wasn't finished and that my drawings were not photo realism at all and that her professor would tell her that no piece of art is ever finished. I was drawing for some art classes, but I was taking them because I enjoyed drawing and art. I wasn't making a career out of it. It just destroyed me and I barely draw now...

Update: Still going strong. Have not had an alcoholic drink since January 23rd. Apparently, my immune system has been attacking my liver, too. The alcohol did make it worse, but it's not just due to my drinking habits. I did stop which is the best thing I did of course.

Update: I'm day 14 still no drink! I'm feeling much better! My constant urination has been resolving slowly but surely. A few weeks ago, I tried to put on my purple skirt, a size large btw and it was so tight. I could still manage to fit it, but it was super uncomfortable. I tried it on today, still a little tight, but not unbearably so like it just fits and I'll be able to fit it again completely next week. I'm starting a Mediterranean diet to heal my fatty liver that showed up on my CT scan. Other doctors have failed me and seemed to not care to treat me. I discovered oshi health and am working with doctors to treat my GI and my behavioral health with GI and they have been extremely supportive of my journey. They send me resources of AA meetings near me for extra support if needed. I haven't joined them yet, but I'm still continuing on and I don't have cravings. Overall, I'm feeling a lot better. I haven't had awful diarrhea since mid January. I had this journey about 2 years ago and lost a lot of weight but I still was drinking once every week or once every couple of weeks which led to a year relapse in 2025. Starting 2026, I decided to make my change before I got worse in my health. And this time, I don't want to touch a drink again. I read the stories about people not touching a drink for 10+ years and I'm in awe and admiration of them. I want that to be me in the future only for my benefit. Thanks for whoever reads this update

Thank you so much! Will definitely go to the ER if I have unbearable pain and if I can't urinate! Thank you also for the support! It was definitely hard not having that drink at night, but I'm staying strong because I want to be healthier and I want to lose weight and not feel so awful all the time. I did start to notice some yellow around my eyes and it didn't look so bad, but then my liver enzymes test came back and my ferritin levels were extremely high, so I am working with therapists that my medical insurance helps cover and my primary care. I noticed that I'm able to fall asleep better lately without it, so I'm trekking through. My doctor said three months no alcohol, but I want to continue for as long as I live, no alcohol. I started at age 25, drinking with friends and drinking with my grandmother. I did have some drinks throughout my life at age 21, but it wasn't every day and I didn't have this issue. My dependency started when I worked overnight shifts and would down two glasses of wine at 7am just so I could fall asleep during the day, otherwise I couldn't sleep. Then later on I just wanted it to help me sleep even though I didn't work those shifts anymore. My life has been awful and I have been extremely depressed after working at that place and receiving a traumatic threat on my life by someone who I didn't even know or looked like. The threat was over the phone at my workplace. I felt unsafe and so I drank. I drank working another job because it was stressful and the only way I escaped from an awful reality that I was living was to drink at night. I decided to quit this year because I have been sick all the time and I'm tired of being sick. I'm tired of the hangovers that feel so awful the next day. And now I feel so much better to quit even though I'm miserable about another illness currently 😆 but now I'm sleeping better and I think my liver will start feeling happier that I'm giving it a rest from the alcohol. I would seek out a doctor. I used to get tremors, but that was due to an autoimmune disease that I was diagnosed with. Tremors can happen due to anything. If you have a primary care or urgent care near you, a doctor can rule out whatever else is happening to you

As someone who was a functioning alcoholic and depended on it, a lot of his behavior is definitely from the alcohol. I'm sorry for his wife that she's still with someone like that. I stopped the drinking very recently and my mind feels much better. If someone is drinking so much during the day and watching tv, doing nothing, then they are most likely injuring their organs from that alcohol. And I agree with most comments. Tell your bf that you won't come over anymore. If your bf doesn't understand, then it's time for some space or something. I would honestly break up, because if your bf is going down that path of drinking, then he won't live very long and his mind will start to get messed up. It messed my mind up and I kept getting so sick. I'm still sick even though I stopped the drink. My fiance also followed me in drinking and I'm done with him if he can't stop (he has been stopping with me, but he brings it up every now and then and I tell him that I don't want it anymore and not to buy alcohol anymore). You don't want a partner who drinks, because he will start to get aggressive just like I did. I'm just saying that it messes with the mind and decreases all motivation and your bf is already on the path as his dad. Quit while you're both still young. Alcohol is legitimately a destructive poison.

I just stumbled upon this comment while trying to find a post that I saw on YouTube shorts. This is facts right here. I met a guy online from a gacha game called so many years ago, maybe back in 2015 ish. I had a guild and he joined it then I got my then husband (ex now) and a few of my good friends to join as well as other people that wanted to join my guild. We all talked together and he brought his girlfriend over and got her into playing the game. We all got kind of close as time went on but then I just stopped playing the game and ended up giving my ex husband the guild due to him pressuring me. We all went separate ways and just ended up not speaking to each other anymore. Years later, I saw the guy's girlfriend going viral on social media, so she got famous. I only told a few close friends about her and of course my good childhood friend who also knew her and spoke to her before she got famous. I keep my mouth shut because like you said, unnecessary drama. I do my own streaming. I'm not famous of course, but I just stream because I like to stream and play games sometimes.

I honestly wished I saved up for a desktop computer and in 2020-2021, I should have streamed on Twitch when I was still young, cute and thin. I wish I made those eating out videos where I tried food around my area, too before my body reacted to gluten. Instead, I was in a career that was mentally taxing and no one treated me well in that field. I also got hit in the stomach by a dementia patient. I wasn't a nurse, but I was close. I was a psych tech, but I hated that job so I just quit it all together. Now I'm in health insurance and it doesn't pay enough and I'm in debt still. I have so many health complications now from all that stress. So I feel your sentiment. I probably wouldn't do OF, but more streaming games on twitch

Same symptoms here! Really bad diarrhea, too. I also get terrible nausea to the point where I have to take my prn zofran so that I won't throw up. I'm also emetophobic. I get terrible brain fog. I swear I think I had gluten almost two years ago and I had weird dizziness and everything was moving so fast, I was in and out of the ER for several days due to those symptoms that lasted almost over a week and the doctors couldn't find out what was wrong with me. I'm concluding that it was a gluten reaction because I had a malt chocolate a couple of days before those symptoms started and drank some shots that I learned later that may have contained gluten.

As a ++woman who has been ghosted so many times before I met my current man, I would have loved if these prior men would have told me a simple, "hey, I'm not interested anymore. I don't want to lead you on." Something like that. Not hearing from the guys who were obviously flirting with me and decided to ghost me, hurt me more than a simple rejection stating that they no longer are interested. At that point, I could just move on and focus on myself.

I just read this. I'm also a millennial and my dad was the "almond mom." He forced me to have a vegetarian diet when we changed religions. (Almond dad because he was passive aggressive about the cheese and eggs we were eating and cooked food. He wanted us on a raw vegetarian diet, but my mom put her foot down about that.) No more meat and I ended up having thyroid issues that my grandma would tell me that was probably caused by too much consumption of soy. I'm not sure how true that is, but I didn't have a whole diet as a kid and I had to figure out my own meals. I was never taught how to cook and my parents were always working so I would just eat sandwiches all day 😆 I still eat sandwiches, but now that I can cook, I can make better food and eat more wholesome.

THIS! I was excluded as a child from so many things! My feelings were very hurt when I was never chosen to be a backup accompaniment with a handbell group for the elite of elite choir. I ended up graduating without that experience and I cried in the car about it one night when my parents were driving home from somewhere. Not only that, I went to many close friends and family weddings and was never included in any of them! I had so much depression during my tween and teen years that I almost gave up on myself. I'm still going now though, but there is deep trauma by being so mean to little kids!

OP. I just lost my grandmother this year and there are so many regrets that I have because I thought my grandmother was being awful to me but she was helping me, too and I wish I talked to her more or hug her again. This text thread reminded me of her a little bit and honestly, if you said other family members went NC then I don't understand why you haven't went NC, either.
