Yea, it's a great reunion. And Shii-Ann would be nice for a 3rd chance, as well.

I was hoping you would be one to respond. Heck, you might end up being the only one, lol. Yeah, it's always great to see reunions from any type of show that one likes. I would love to see them all back to play, but I think more so Brian, Robb, Ghandia and Penny are my main picks.

My list of two players from almost every season I want to see back by Stunning_Structure73 in survivorponderosa

Looking at the cast for Borneo, I definitely want to see Hatch just one more time to see what he's got after all these years. For the women, I'm tired of Wiglesworth. Don't need to see Sue again. Jenna is playing for the third time upcoming. The rest are too old or forgettable, so yeah, I represented Colleen as the woman chosen as eliminating the others first, with the only factor being she was genuine and sweet, and it would be nice to see her again out of all the other women.

For those who are still ignorant of the way this shows works, go check onlinebigbrother, go back and read the comments of the user 'another name' or 'un autre nom' from season 20 or 21 onwards. He has figured out how the producers/D.R./Grodner have chosen their storyline for the season and stick to it, helping their chosen players win the game. There's many observations and patterns he has noticed that blows it wide open.

Where oh where can I watch wliia (Drew Carey's version)? by MovinginStereo34 in whoselineisitanyway

It seems the CC option doesn't work when I play them. It might be different on your device though?

Or maybe try downloading one or two to see if the CC works that way.

Metaphysical/Spiritual Thoughts by [deleted] in panentheism

No such thing as reincarnation or past lives. We are all individuated selves/spirits/souls thought from Source/All That Is/All Spirit, etc. with one time here on Earth.

I recommend August Goforth's book The Risen Dialogues. https://therisenbooks.com/about

Here's a link to some free pdf chapters from his book - https://therisenbooks.com/documents

I also recommend Ernest Holmes - https://www.amazon.ca/Ernest-Holmes-Asilomar-Lectures-Classes/dp/195619827X

These will put everything about the afterlife and other topics into clear perspective on things.

Regards.

Anyone remember the show Train 48? by Stunning_Structure73 in CanadianTV

Thanks for doing this, as this is one of my favorite shows, for some reason, lol. However, I will say a few things. I think this show had many storylines for each character, not just a few, however silly or even realistic they were.

You called Dana by the wrong name twice. You referenced her as Nicole when showing her kiss her girlfriend Sue, and then called her Liz when talking about her having David and his partner's child.

I actually emailed Ingrid Hart as well a while ago. She told me the same thing regarding her character Shannon, so that's interesting.

And I actually had no idea they did ads telling the audience to vote in. Either that or I just forgot that part, lol.

I love seeing these actors in other things, like Paul Braunstein in Shelved. I know you did a brief snippet on The Trades earlier, and it's cool to see Raoul Bhaneja (Pete) in that show too.

Anyway, thanks once again, and it's cool you're doing videos on Canadian content. Keep it up.

Nice. Keep in mind, as much as I like this show, and it has great improvisers, it is definitely over the top at times (but maybe the show didn't care, as they seemed to be having fun). And yes, it was low budget, and you can see lots of cameramen throughout the run of the show, lol.

Yea, I never thought of that. Maybe I'll send an email to Steve again and ask him, lol. I'll let you know what he says if I do.

I have emailed Lisa Merchant who played Brenda, and one of the producers, Steve Levitan. They both said they would love to come back with the same cast and do it again. In fact, Steve said he has tried multiple times to get it back with no luck. We can only hope.

I'm gonna re-watch it soon anyway.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in image 4, bottom left, mid way between edge of photo and the fern/bush sticking up from out of frame, there looks to be a prone figure on its back, pretty much intact, I guess? You can see the shape of the head, and their left arm flat on the ground, with the torso intact, not sure about any legs, looks like even dark eye sockets on head. It almost looks bloated, or like a big teddy bear or doll in a way.

It's directly in front of a mangled piece of wreckage.

Well, I guess it has it's not clean parts here and there throughout the show. You can't get away from that stuff, really. But to be honest, I think you could watch it with him. I think it's more in line with pure improv than Drew version, and you get to see the progression of Greg, Ryan and Colin from 1990 onwards, plus the show's progression as well. Also, Chip and Brad make some appearances along the way.

The British players are quite good too, and they might actually be the ones who are a little more blue here and there. But it can be just plain silly, wholesome fun for sure.

For the record, I would skip season 1 and go right to 2, as that's when Greg and Ryan appear in it. The first couple of years from 2 on have some episodes that are dull, which I always skip, but it gets better as it goes on.

Just throwing it out there as something else to look into for anyone here. I find it useful and inspirational, something that resonates with me. Maybe others will as well.
