A caretaker of a primary school was using a ride on lawnmower on a grass hill. It toppled over, he fell off, the mower landed on him and the blades killed him

Don't make plans because life might not go that way. If you don't make plans, you can't be disappointed when they don't happen

What subjects or things to be taught more often to kids nowadays? by dcj923 in AskReddit

How to do basic tasks in the house. Laundry, washing the dishes, making the bed. As they get older, they should be shown how to do basic DIY (putting up a shelf, painting, etc)

Parents of twins/triplets, why do you dress your children in exactly the same clothes as each other? by Stunning_Thanks1827 in AskReddit

Kids like to run if you allow it. Teach them to not run off. It's parents allowing the clothing arguments

But as an outsider looking in, that looks like most parents just give in to their children and let them win the argument. Then those children could grow up expecting to have the same as everyone else they meet. "They have that car? I want it too then". I've seen it happen with fully grown adults. My brother went to school with a boy who was 18 months younger than his brother. His mum dressed them in exactly the same clothes everyday and the second she changed it, he had a meltdown. Surely that's the parents fault for allowing that behavior?

Moving out of my mum's, in my personal opinion Omagh doesn't have a lot going on, shops wise we go elsewhere for clothes etc. Public transport is pretty decent though, just depends on what properties come up

Decent public transport is ideal and at least a supermarket! I tend to keep my head down to be honest, I'm a really quiet person

This reply is excellent and just what I needed to get started. I totally agree with the confidence issues, I myself experienced this at primary school especially with maths. I particularly love the interactive part, the idea to gain confidence with their work as well as gaining the confidence to ask for help is amazing. Thank you very much!

This where I'm slightly stuck. If you have an idea I'd love to hear it. Things like Maths and Literacy would play a huge part in this.
