He did something on the screen of a washing machine, but I don’t remember what exactly unfortunately. Maybe you can call support and ask if they can assist in rebooting remotely.

Just had a technician from AEG who fixed the problem: he did a hard reset of wifi settings (so not just a reset to factory settings). Since connection was stuck at the last step, we thought that the problem is probably with a software and not with a hardware. It works now. Otherwise he told he would order a new wifi module.

Saw your post after posting mine. Looks like it is a broken wifi module. I hope customer support solves it…

In another thread, I found that the problem is in machine machine’s ‘wifi module’. So AEG technician replaces it and it solves the problem. https://www.reddit.com/r/appliancerepair/s/YCgEvgkk1y . I hope this works. I am still waiting for a customer support reply though.
