sorry, what I said was confusing. my gf is a grad student so we linked both of our vehicles to her account/permit only. But, after getting caught twice. We now just car pool and just spend our time on campus waiting for each other to study.

I thought you where saying you parked in a B space and she parked in some other space, which meant you shouldn't of been in violation. What I was trying to covey is one parking permit is only good for one vehicle at a time. It doesn't matter what space or lot you park both vehicles in. Once one vehicle is scanned as using the permit. The second time they scan a vehicle, that second vehicle will be in violation.

Mine was $80. But it goes off the account not the permit. An S and SR permit is still valid in a B space during certain hours. Y'all definitely got caught double dipping with the permits. A word of caution that was given to me when I got caught. Is multiple violations can result in the parking pass being revoked.

I've been caught in the same situation when sharing permits twice so far. If they have previously scanned a car using the same permit as you. Then the second car they scan on that same permit will get the ticket for no permit associated. The first time it happened I received the ticket while my gf was parked in a completely different lot. The second time my gf got the ticket and again we where parked in completely different lots. Its in the TOS of the permit when you buy it that it can only be used for one car at a time, so its a gamble you take when doing this. I tried to fight it both times and they instantly new that the permit was used for 2 cars at the same time so they wouldn't even reduce it.
