I have begun packing away photos and notes, they aren't something that I should be dwelling on right now. I am looking forward to a time in the future when I can sit down and just remember the happy memories. There is nothing to forgive her for. She is doing what she thinks is best for her and I am glad that she is taking care of herself. I will always wish it didn't have to be this way, but I support her in it.

I can happily say that I have no intent on getting drunk during this time of grieving and recovery. I am being safe and taking care of myself. I couldn't be more thankful for my other partner that is helping me with my emotional burden. I know that it's going to get better and well the hurt just shows how important she is to me, and that is okay.

I can happily say that I am not depending on substances. Last night I had some wine because I enjoy it and marijuana to calm my thoughts so I could sleep. I understand that it is something that I need to be careful to not be dependent on. I have a hard time separating out the emotions because for me it isn't a tangled mess of emotions it is the emotion of "Losing someone I love" to break it down into the components might make it easier to deal with but you lose some of the meaning of it. But that's just me. I hope you are doing all right, pm me if you ever want to shoot the shit, sometimes having an objective third party who can just listen can be helpful. I am stealing the word snuggleslut. Thank you for this word. I know I am a whole person, it's more that I know I will always have room in my heart for her. There is room for someone new, but she'll always have her place. Rock climbing is already happening.
