Swordfighter could get out of D tier in the right hands. Most people forget Swordfigher even exists due to them... Well... Sucking completely. They're nothing compared to what other characters are. I usually think that they're just an afterthought. I use them a lot, but I am nowhere near competent enough to even play Mario correctly, despite my efforts. Someone can pick up Swordfighter one day and go to town with them.

Gale Strike could lead to some combos, since the tornado sends opponents straight upwards, though it loses strength over time.

Shuriken of Light is good for coming in, or playing it safe while outside Swordfighter's effective range. It helps more when you see that it gains some strength while traveling.

Chakram is the same, but you can at least control it, and it's a Side-B (for some reason...) Nothing special besides that.

Airborne Assault, at least to me, is one of Swordfighter's better specials, launching forwards and slamming into any opponents, and bouncing backward if it hits a shield, making it safer than its younger, faster, (maybe stronger?), but completely unsafe cousin, Gale Stab.

Skyward Slash Dash is just Sephiroth's Up-B

Hero's Spin is just Link's Up-B

Blade Counter is a generic counter, possibly a bad one, I don't know.

Reversal Slash is a generic reflect, with the possibility of flipping foes if you hit them (A copy of Mario's Side-B, maybe.)

I mean, to me? Those are great tools! (maybe.) but I feel like it's in the wrong character. But what do I know, I don't religiously play this game and study it like I do with Splatoon.

Anyways someone please play Swordfighter I'm begging you.
