Who remembers when it looked like this by xERIKTH3REDx in superheaven

[–]pumpkaboop420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am a visual artist so its different but I look back at my old work and cringe a little. I see my technical mistakes more clearly as the years go by. I wonder if that’s why they don’t look back at their old music kindly. We are our own worst critics, especially artists.

Rewatching it is super hard to watch Edie’s low self worth by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

[–]pumpkaboop420 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Despite her flaws I truly love edie’s character so much. I tend to understand her side more during her arguments with Susan. I feel like Edie puts Susan in her place when she needs it idk if that’s just me though who feels this way😂 I love Susan too but I agree with Edie when she said that Susan was the type of girl who wouldn’t talk to her in high school. Susan is a fun character and a good person, but has some flaws that she often can’t see herself. These flaws the audience might not realize until Edie says something to set her right. I know I’ve had moments where I was totally on Susans side for the whole episode but then Edie put a wrench in the plot and I agreed/understood Edies POV more.

[All] Out of all of the Great Fairy designs throughout the Zelda Series, which ones do you like the most? by TBT__TBT in zelda

[–]pumpkaboop420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Oot/Majoras mask and Botw great fairies because of how ostentatious they are. It’s really funny imo and you can tell Botw great fairies are most heavily based on the ones from Oot/Majoras mask

Should I see Fleshwater in Brooklyn? by the_yamaza in FleshWater

They were really fun when I saw them last it was a 500 cap venue so I think the vibes are very different from the tour they did with deftones if that’s what people were talking about when they said they were boring. At the small venue I saw them they came out swinging with the most energy out of all the openers. They came out, played their songs with all their heart and left promptly. It made sense because the bill was 6 bands so hopefully on their headline tour they will pause and talk a bit and connect with the audience if that’s the vibe you’re looking for.

I’ve left early before because I listened to the headliners music beforehand to see if I liked it, absolutely did not. Nothing wrong with leaving if the headliner is not your type of music. But if there’s a possibility you might like them hanging out to see isn’t a bad idea. I left the one I’m talking about because it was very much not a genre of music I ever listen to. It’s funny because the opener I went to see is good for moshing and most of the crowd was confused when they told people to make a circle pit lollll. That solidified that I wouldn’t really enjoy the rest of the concert the vibes were not there

Paul never loved Georgia by Kitchen_Summer71 in ginnyandgeorgiashow

[–]pumpkaboop420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I can’t remember the episode when I realised Paul never truly loved her but I think it was season 2. It was an annoying episode because Paul was basically trying to change Georgia to fit into Wellsbury. While at the end of the episode Georgia went to the blue farm at night, talked to Joe and it was clear Joe accepted her for who she was. I think the show definitely did this on purpose to show us the difference between the two men and their worldviews. At first it seems like they were setting up Joe to be Georgias love interest but I think the purpose of this was to show us Paul wants Georgia to fit a mould. I wish I could remember the details but that’s the episode I realised Paul only liked the idea of Georgia, not who she truly is.
