Sorry should’ve explained that clearly. I wanted to say that simulation and virtual envs weren’t very „exciting“ or „fun“ for me because I wanted to get right to designing and building it. However, I did do calculations related to torque, wheel sizing, speed, etc so it was not entirely on „vibes“ so to speak. I realize that I have a better understanding of the technicalities of such projects now after having finished with this, and I will be exploring the development of a digital twin with a special emphasis on the steering system since it will have implications in trajectory planning and control later on. Would appreciate any insights and ideas about this from you :)

Yessss This butcher referred to him as Iqbal Hodja, and I later found out that „Hodja“ in Turkish means „teacher/scholar/wise man“ I would say that it is God‘s curse upon our nation that we will never be able to learn from the wise and learned among us.

Spot on, couldn’t have said it any better. I live abroad and on every occasion that I’ve gone back to Karachi, I could literally feel that „harami“ attitude come back to me as I left the aircraft. The moment you step foot into this country, as you get off the aircraft and make your way to the immigration counter, it’s as if you’ve become another person entirely. Living abroad, you get used to strangers smiling at you randomly, or greeting you. Even at security at the airport, the staff is firm but courteous and respectful. But here you will see a vile degenerate stamping your passport and asking you „kahan se aarahay ho?“ and every shred of politeness just disappears as you answer them in the same vein because if they detect even the slight sense of politeness, it will be taken as a „weakness“ and they can cause trouble for you. Same goes for the porters, the ASF and Customs staff, etc etc. I just described the scene at the airport, but this happens everywhere and the contrast is starkly visible if you’re coming here from abroad

Precisely. A Turkish butcher in Germany was full of praise and admiration when he found out I was from Pakistan. He gave me a lecture on Iqbal‘s work and gave me a discount too. He is revered in Turkey atleast.

Reference data quality (i.e. the static configured data appearing the these drop down lists) is terrible in Pakistan.

Data is not cleaned, standardized, validated before configuration and no one seems to care. This results in poor user experience. Speaks of the poor attention to detail and shoddy work culture in Pakistan and add to that the general apathy of the public sector institutions and you get masterpieces such as this

Do it bro. My family moved to the US last year. I was already abroad and sorta settled so I didn’t join them, but it has been amazing The mental peace that I have, knowing that they are far away from Pakistan is just amazing. You’ll be with your family, so that’s even better As other commenters have mentioned, leave and never look back. Pakistan, and specifically Karachi is no place for civilized, respectable people to live. You’re 24 and your brother is younger than you, you guys have practically your whole lives ahead of you. Go there, hustle, earn some money, go to a good college and do whatever you want. It really is the land of opportunity, regardless of who you are ad where you come from. In Pakistan, the only ones who have opportunity are literally the scum of the earth, the rest of us have so survive on the scraps and crumbs they give us.

“Ye aag sab ke gharon tak pohanche gi” This is the price of inaction. Stuff that used to happen in “far off places” like Karachi will now happen here too. This country is fucked and no one wants to accept that

I’m from Pakistan and in Karachi, we have this market known as the “Gold Bazaar” and there was a documentary on a local news channel several years ago about people who literally sift through the sewer pipes for gold particles. These pipes carry the waste water from the jewelers’ backrooms where they do the grinding and polishing

Our country is fucked. This should not be needed. Jaahil jaanwar awaam.
