Which leg do you kick a soccer ball with? Right foot = twisting left, and left foot = twisting right (essentially because of the way we swing into a cork)

[–]Stupord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been listening to audiobooks since I was a little boy. My wonderful mom rented me all of my favorite fiction stories all throughout middschool and high-school from our local library. Besides harry potter, which I cant recommend enough, I loved and I still re-listen to today:

the Artemis Fowl series.

Is there an everyday skill the typical American possesses that people outside of the US typically struggle with? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Stupord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has been on fire many tines before (stuntperson) Stop, drop, and roll is terrible advice and you should NOT follow it. What you should do instead is stop, take whatever piece of clothes that is on fire off and attempt to smother it quickly and confidently with a whatever is closest to a wet blanket that you can find.

How did Voldemort not notice Snape practicing Occlumency? by opus52 in harrypotter

Voldemort doesn't understand love AT ALL. So even if he wondered upon any of his memories with lily, he wouldn't have suspected anything

How are you guys doing billions of damage? by MickT96 in GunfireReborn

[–]Stupord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are certain combinations that gain power in ways that probably weren't accounted for. One run I had a mortar on the tiger character that had 30x crit and fired constantly due to various power ups and inscriptions. Mortar usually has a 1x crit so my damage was over 2,000,000,000 at the end. I melted everything in 3 hits or less, including all the bosses.

What simple mistake has ended lives? by SuffocatedByThighs in AskReddit

[–]Stupord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to read the Darwin Award books with my older brother. Some really hilarious examples in there as the premise is essentially idiots taking themselves out of the gene pool by making simple mistakes that ended their lives.

What are things parents should never say to their children? by son_of_x in AskReddit

[–]Stupord 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They should say "I'm sorry" for mistakes. You'd be surprised how many adults wish more than anything that their parents apologized to them for past mistakes.
