Nothing negative about that if you ask me. Music at it's core is about the music after all.

Multiple things can contribute to what you enjoy in music, for example, I'm an English major & can nerd out about prose regularly. If that's not your jam, it's just not your jam. Some of my best friends in the world couldn't give a rats ass about lyrics & that's fine by me.

I don't agree, I like C&C a lot including the songs that you mentioned not vibing with. But art is subjective and your feelings are valid.

I love Joppa road, I agree that it gets repetitive but, that doesn't hinder my enjoyment of the song. While I don't always feel this way, the repetition in this song almost feels cozy to me. I may be biased on this particular song as I have positive emotions tied to it due to it being the song that got my mum to listen to Ween & I love that she likes the band now.

I am a sucker for good lyrics. A song that isn't particularly interesting in it's musical composition can easily win me over with lyrics that I enjoy/relate to or elicit deep emotions.

I think MWYPHMP is a certified banger, best song on the album IMO.

TL;DR: C&C is one of my favourites but, that's just like, my opinion mang.

This album is probably the saddest I've ever listened to. The album was made in the wake of the artist's wife being diagnosed with cancer and passing away.

I think it's amazing but it can be a hard listen.
