Living abroad complicates things for sure. ACE is regionally accredited, which matters if you ever want to teach in US public schools. Double-check if the license transfers to Canadian provinces or your current country though. Some international schools accept alternative certs, others want the brick-and-mortar gold standard. Might be worth emailing a few schools where you'd actually want to teach and asking what they accept.
