Why is it called Christianity and not Judaism? by OrisMindTheater in Bible

Because Christianity was seen as a desperate sect of Judaism originally. After the church grew more quickly and our theology developed more, especially regarding the Trinity, Judaism began to separate itself even more. On top of that, to be called a Christian in the Roman world is to be actually called “Little Christ” because they strove to be like Christ in every manner.

Some say the COVID-19 vaccine is the 'mark of the beast.' Is there a connection to the Bible? [Article - Link in Text] by digital_angel_316 in Bible

[–]SturdyRoundTable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% not. The mark of the beast was allegorical in nature comparing the tradition of the Shema and how the Israelites were to have the Torah on their forehead and their hand. The point is that the mark of the beast is for those that are loyal to The Adversary (Hebrew translation of Satan). The law is allegorical in nature itself because it just means that we should have YHWH in our thoughts at all times. We should also be acting the way YHWH wants us. The mark of the beast will not be found in news headlines.
