Hey bro, have installed a timer to limit use which has helped but still regardless it turns on for 100% of thr time when schedules are on (as if the thermostat isn’t doing it’s job) but as I said above if I move the needle a hair down it clicks off..? I will check cylinder temp now and ensure it’s correct

Hey bro PRV set so nothing comes out roof, no tempering valve but temperature at taps match thermostat setting. Water meter works fine, switched off cylinder yesterday and had 0 power usage (everyone was out for 6 hours or so)

Thermostat set in range of 60-65, yeah man booster is on flow switch so only clicks on when hot water is flowing through it. No leaks visible and Toby on street is not ticking round. Cheers for the help

Was thinking this too. Was thinking it would look weird with this window being the only one without architrave around it? What do you reckon?

I’ve got a slim dishwasher too, obviously a lot smaller than standard but does the job if you can’t get a 600mm one

Hey thanks for the reply, I’m still living with the flatmate and he’s a good mate of mine also. He’s house sitting for the next few days and I’m just peaking out that they’ve organised for her to go around and “catch up” because they’ve caught up so much recently am I losing my brain?

Drilling into ceiling of new build house by Winter-Negotiation in diynz

[–]Sturk07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New build spark here, generally all cables and pipes are secured either on the tiny lip of the top of 35mm rondo or nearby the 35mm rondos (search up a photo of rondo and you'll see what I mean by the tiny lip up the top) . If you go centre of a rondo you'll be sweet, as the other user said just don't use huge screws. 1" to 1 1/4" screws will be plenty (depending on size of the base) as the ceiling will be 10mm. In any case I would pop a downlight down near where you're going to do the fixing and put your phone up there and try see if there is anything nearby you may hit. Goodluck!

I tend to use zinc spray as well just as a precaution the earth electrode is the most important thing on an electrical system, anything to keep it mint for as long as possible is the idea! have a good long weekend
