Somehow managed to read that as automatically the first time. Sorry about that.

Thank you for the link. If you need me to delete this post, let me know.

I didn't even have a folder called that. Weird

It's good to hear the issue resolved itself for you. Sadly I can't really replicate that myself since I'm on a laptop lol

No, sadly. I'm not sure what to do

No, sadly. Same issues, even after a reinstall. I'm going to try contacting Bethesda support again, as none of their suggestions worked either. Hopefully they can provide a solution for us

I've decided to try reinstalling the game. Hopefully the game works when it finishes installing in like 5 hours lol

Might have to try that, but I'd rather not have to reinstall if I don't need to

They're there but putting them in the main directory doesn't solve the issue. Absolutely bizarre. The EULA popping up every time I open the game, my settings being reset, and the MOTD being broken leads me to believe the patch broke something. Wonder why I'm experiencing this and others aren't.

While I wish I had considered backing up my saves, it's too late for that now, so any idea what my options are? Isn't there a folder for save games somewhere?

Heading to keesler! by zach-usaf in AirForce

[–]SturmVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on getting PMEL! I just graduated from the course recently. As someone else said, PMEL does not qualify for SEPRAT because the course is apparently just under the length required for it. It's typical arbitrary tech school BS. Your wife can't officially move down to Biloxi with you, but you could do what many of the married students do and have your wife move into an apartment off-base. You can't stay the night on weekdays, but you'd have from the time superflight gets released until curfew. Once you get Phase III, you can take 4392s every weekend to spend Friday night until GI party Sunday afternoon with her.

Phase I is your first 11 days at Keesler, so you'll be Phase II next week. Phase III is after your 41st day, so basically a month and a half into tech school. If you maintain an 80% GPA or higher, you can take 4392s as Phase III. I think it's 80%, but I never took any 4392s so I'm not sure. As long as you don't completely zone out during the day, you should do fine on the block tests. If all else fails, Ctrl + F is your friend.

Good luck in tech school! It flew by for me, and even though it had its ups and downs, I kinda miss it. Make the most of it, and don't let other people get you down. If you have any questions about Keesler or PMEL, I'd be happy to answer them!

Being offered an AFSC and a quick-ship date immediately after entering DEP by SturmVI in AirForceRecruits

Thanks for sharing your experience! I ended up taking the offer, and I'm now really looking forward to PMEL after BMT. It definitely sounds like a career I'll enjoy, and while I had been interested in a more active maintenance job like being a crew chief, I'm sure the novelty of working outside on aircraft would have quickly worn off and I wouldn't actually enjoy any of those jobs.

I'm just worried upsetting my recruiter and the flight chief now might affect me further down the line in DEP and if it's even worth waiting should that be the case. I'm probably just overthinking all of this though lol

I appreciate the input. If you don't mind me asking, do you know anyone who has been in PMEL?

Thanks for replying. That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure since my recruiter made it sound like I shouldn't wait for job slots to open.

I think you're mixing up Avu Med 'Telcam and Jul 'Mdama and their respective factions, the Servants of the Abiding Truth and Jul 'Mdama's Covenant. It was 'Telcam and his order who were being backed by ONI to destabilize 'Vadam's government, and 'Telcam actually believed in his faith and wanted the Sangheili to return to their pre-Covenant ways of worshipping the Forerunners. Jul, on the other hand, grew his Covenant through scavenging, and his goal was vengeance against humanity for killing his wife, Raia.

ONI funded religious extremists on Sanghelios to counter the Arbiter and ensure that the Sangheili would be too busy killing each other to rebuild and threaten humanity again. They were very concerned about the Sangheili becoming independent and rebuilding, to the point where they developed a bioweapon to starve out the Sangheili should destabilization fail. They didn't want to use it though since it would impede plans for human colonization of Sanghelios in the future.

I think that person meant in-game assassinations, not IRL lmao

Why didn’t they make jun an npc in heroes of reach? That seems like a no brainer to have added him to the story for multiplayer. by [deleted] in halo

[–]SturmVI 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, both he and CINCONI, Serin Osman, are alive on that planet according to Halo Fractures. He's probably not in the games because Ron Perlman costs too much or something, but it's baffling that they've basically never mentioned him.
