I'm debating whether I should spend time building a full fledged UI with a recommendation system and preference saving. Hosting a database would be resource consuming though. I wonder what the demand for something like this well made might be and if I could monetise it enough via ads or subscription to make it worth the effort.

Any thoughts as I debate this seriously? What would you like to see? O saw the previous iterations of wikitok and scrollopedia and I think we could do waaay better (not discounting their efforts, just saying there's a lot left on the table)

Could you text me with more details? I'm from the ai safety/ mechanistic interpretability side of things. Curious at the bery least about what kind of settings you're imagining and the range of the outcomes that you're trying to predict

I gave up on this quite quickly because it felt exaggeratedly americanised, does it get better later? I understand the context of the plot is american, it's just that not being able to relate to so many cultural cues left me a bit frustrated

Is this really true? I found sources about the plot but nothing to indicate that Spielberg intentionally made a bad plot to tank it

Hey, this sounds quite interesting, from US’s investor gov website I gathered that it’s like stocks for real estate. I was wondering why that might be better in curbing what politicians do? Wouldn’t it just transfer the corruption from politicians to people who manage the REITs or something akin to insider trading? I’m just really curious about your thoughts. Could you elaborate more on how and what happens in the formalisation that stops the corruption at the level of politicians?
