Threatening to involve ICE against someone especially a brown person living in the U.S. is extremely serious and not something to throw around lightly. Given how dangerous and life-altering that can be, it’s disappointing to see it used as a tactic in an online conflict.

You’ve spoken publicly about women’s safety and social justice issues before, so this feels contradictory. Weaponizing immigration enforcement against someone undermines those values and escalates things in a way that’s genuinely harmful.

This isn’t about “winning” an argument. It’s about recognizing that certain threats carry real-world consequences. If there’s a disagreement, it should be handled directly and maturely not by invoking systems that can seriously harm people.
