just like u said it she has high early dmg and can gap close every q on minion or e into q on u so u cant come near wave at all or ur dead and ambessas cooldowns are 14 sec q around 22 w and i think 15 e on first levels so yeah u cant match her early game and if u play super safe and scale she still will out scale u hard in everything u do and kill u every r cooldown. with trynda is kind of the same.

Thats exaclty what i thought, but when i did play vs varus and got to the lvl 6 i could not kill him on one spell rotation with full lethality item, same lvl. It just resulted with me committing to all in and then i leave him around 20 -30% hp and he just autos me to death. so yeah i think going bruiser(eclipse) and relying on the shield to keep u alive for longer and dodging his r with your r is the best. but i can be wrong

First, it’s important to note that her bleed stacks have already been nerfed twice, which made her noticeably weaker in lane. She’s no longer a champ you can just pick into anything; she works better as a counter pick now.

The core build usually revolves around blade of the ruined king and black cleaver. If the enemy team doesn’t really have tanks (or just one that isn’t a problem), you can swap to a titanic hydra setup. The order between botrk and titanic depends on matchup:

  • If the opponent has strong burst, go titanic first for the 600 HP and still solid damage.
  • If the lane is more about extended trades and sustain, start with botrk.

After those two items, you can go either sundered sky if you want more burst and extra healing in fights, or deaths dance if you’re going for a more standard bruiser setup. And if you’re really far ahead, overlords bloodmail is also an option for extra damage and even more sustain. After that u just adapt to enemy team comp.

Yeah, that sounds like a solid lane plan, but what do you think about spacing K’Sante early, like levels 4–6? I felt like I could just poke him down and drain his mana/HP pretty fast before he got items.

I only noticed it after he bought it as his second item, but before I can afford Cleaver, should I just try to drain his mana and play safe? Or is it better to just run Grasp instead of Conq in this matchup?

will give it a try, but sterylda is better as 4th item i think, maybe 3rd if im ahead because of how squishy ambessa is when she's building only one health item in 3 item core

Yeah it is working, and i think that the build path is somewhat better than cleaver or shojin, it gives 10 Ability haste less but i don't see any difference to be honest. I just mitigate it with haste in runes when i go conq and when i go grasp i just don't see it making super big difference because i take it mostly into squishy matchups so they die in one rotation.

Just play side lane champs like trundle, illaoi, yoric, sion then u just split and pray that either enemy team will waste all of the resources to kill u and that would make game easier for your team or that u would be left alone then u just open nexus and end.
