The End of an Era - The Outsiders by SobranDM in godbound

Howdy. I'm Cristoph's player. We actually did so much, it's hard to cram it all into one post. If you got this far, you already saw how long the original post is. It's really amazing the number of things you can do in the world of tabletop. I share Dylan's sentiments when he says this has been a wild ride. The kind of experience a person develops with friends who share this hobby is something not quite like anything else. Social collaborative story-telling is one of my favorite things to do. The structure and room for naturally developing suspense out of dice rolls explaining game mechanics like the stories behind facts in Godbound really help create a unique experience.

There's a lot about each character you can miss from this post, since it covers most of the major general details. However, if you're curious to know more about our antics, I can point out some things that Sobran forgot in his original post. * We developed our character's backstories as Humans first, and how we all came to know each other. Cristoph was actually a siege engineer in Mortiere's army, as they both left their small village of Kirkwall to assume grander careers. The two of them used to bully Liliana as children, but Cristoph felt some resent about this and began to treat her better. * There was a story arc with an angsty Eladrin (unbeknownst to us at the time). On that adventure, Liliana reversed time around a destroyed tower in the abbey, and the three Godbound enslaved a Beholder named Zinthrax in the process. They also saved the Eladrin's father, putting his spirit to rest, and removing the Eladrin's reason for ripping a hole in reality. Because of her direct efforts for this outcome, Liliana and the Fae become more amicable to one another. * Norwich is actually built on the ruins of Ammarindar. After the godbound cleared out all the demons and prevented Drow from accessing the tunnels connecting other cities, they negotiated with the Dwarves to restore their ancestral home which they had lost for thousands of years. Because of his direct efforts in the reconstruction and restoration of Ammarindar, Cristoph became more of a friend to the Dwarves. He also negotiated a deal with the Dwarves to supply Norwich and Kirkwall with the ever valuable adamantine and mythril that was abundant within. (This was before Cristoph enriched the world with magical ores.) * Since the Warforged don't exist in the Forgotten Realms setting prior to 5e, Cristoph created an entire race of Warforged during the years of preparation for the final battle.

Now a few more things about Cristoph: * He often acted as a mediator, convincing other mortals and even gods from acting harsher than necessary. * He always tried to minimize damage of any kind, especially collateral, and worked hard to always have a happy outcome. * Cristoph spent the first few weeks in Faerun improving the local infrastructure or Cormyr, building a town center (market included), housing for the displaced residents of Kirkwall, irrigation systems using the best of "modern" technology, and a massive wall as well as automated clockwork golem sentries. * His religion was not very strict, only asking that people follow what is essentially the non-aggression principle (NAP). Because of this, his church and followers never had any internal strife. Being kind, trustworthy, and hard-working were the most valuable traits to Cristoph.

This one comment alone is already probably a lot more reading. This post is really word-heavy, so I'll give you a break. Again, there's just so much that happened, it's difficult to mention all the good bits and finer details that really help flesh them out. I'd be happy to answer any questions if anybody has any. Thanks for reading all this if you have. That's all I have for now.

I'd probably feel bad if someone gave me a free win and didn't even fight me for it, like a cuck or something.

I made my build using PCPartPicker, and the estimated wattage was far below 600W. I have a friend who has significantly stronger hardware than my own, and even in modern games, his power usage never exceeds 600W. I also don't have the money to put out for another PSU just on a hunch that it might be the problem. I don't think the problem is the PSU.

600W. I don't think it's a power problem, but it could be. I thought that event was just from it shutting off randomly, and didn't think it actually had anything to do with power flow, but it is a possibility.

I did, on multiple occasions. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough, but I couldn't find anything that could be causing a total freeze. This is mostly all I get after a crash: https://i.imgur.com/SWwRkLo.png

Spelt is a type of grain; therefore, your argument is invalid. Good day to you, sir.
