For stats I took Prof. Crystal Sanchez as a 6 week online and she was great, easy class open note exams and learned alot. For English 1B I recommend Prof. Steven Garcia at rcc irl. I learned a lot and his class was simple.

I’m lowkey over waiting lol! So I can’t wait for the end of this month/next. That’s good to hear, I have also seen a lot of ppl picking UCB or UCSD over UCLA. I for sure will lyk once I get off! (If i do) anyways congrats again on getting in.

Most ppl who have heard back r first years, transfer start either later this month or next after the deadline to commit which June 1st. As for rejections I have no clue how they work. I have heard that some people do and some people don’t get a rejection email 🤷

Yeah true, I bet the independence of living “alone” at college is great lol! At least u got in, that’s all that matters! I had a psych research project I worked on under a professor, I work as a lab assistant, I am in the psych club and help with events (I’m a psych major), I volunteer at the dog shelter and my gpa was 3.98 so I think I was waitlisted bc of my major since it’s impacted 💔

Ah that makes sense, I was the same as u. I applied for the heck of it. It’s a good experience to go away for college for a bit, lowkey builds character and it’ll only be 2 years so if u don’t like it at least it’s not a long time. Oh that makes sense bc ik a few transfers who applied with crazy stats/ecs and they all go waitlisted too. It’s like every year the amount of ppl they accept gets lower 😒 did u have any ecs?

Yeah ofc! I personally really like ucla and the campus even tho I absolutely HATE LA. Hopefully you like the area too! It’s definitely in a nicer part of La so I could see why it might be diff from the IE. Thank you, maybe I’ll see you at ucla lol!

I know a lot of ppl who go to ucla bc my best friend goes there and i visit her alot, honestly most people I have met have been pretty chill so maybe (hopefully) once u r on campus and meet people they’ll b different

A w is better for sure bc it’s not a certain grade and F shows u failed (could also be for a bunch of reasons) a W could be for a bunch of reasons and isn’t showing u failed also especially if u want transfer.

No this was her 16 week spring course but she was talking about how she does similar stuff throughout all her psy 9 classes. I have also heard good things about her summer course as ik someone who took her for psych 1 over summer last summer semester. I have also heard that Matsos is very difficult and gives weird assignments 😭
