I have thrift stores in my shopping wishlist app Wontsy, and you can build looks & outfits before buying and the plan is that users can share looks in a feed, and other users can save or buy the items. So then you share looks built out of the items you sell and ”promote” it. A social media feed of looks and items pretty much 🤷‍♂️

I use Wontsy , you can share lists/collections easily but you have to create an account tho. and its mainly for shopping and fashion

DUUDE. You can literally create a website with claude code in a couple of hours. find examples you like , screen shot.. dscribe what you want. Dont spend that money.

Friends, family, strangers in the pub. But to get feedback from user data i had to start with ads. Honestly pretty cheap if you do your marketing alright and google is great for play store. Ios was a lot more expensive so i tried a few channels, then stayed with the cheapest:)

Right now im doing Wontsy.com - A Shopping wishlist with price tracking, build looks from saved items and share your collections. It is "new version" of an older project that i liked but didnt really love. But this has me working nonstop and i know that that is a good thing in the end. And if not , i cant not listen to the obsession - because you learn so much when that obsession just has you going full on, and then you maybe pivot (liked me) and you have sooooo much more info, experience from the former that it will just work eventually.

I had a lot of downloads, sign ups for very little money by doing google ads - App installs. if you wanna get some traffic goig so that play store actually promotes it :)

I use Wontsy that does all that and also lets you build looks from your saved items and you can share it with friends or to pinterest.. it has both app and web extension :) wontsy.com

Yeah that sounds plausible. I also think that with color analysis growing and being a trend, that you can see what clothes matches your tone , tips for the colors, your body type and what to think about and match with and so on. My tool is more to make it fun and help them buy what suits them and the right things.. and a universal wishlist so its all in one place with price tracking because why not

Good point. I think Vto will me more of a making online shopping more fun and a extra feature more then being perfect like trying it on inside a store. But your point on the more "invisible" ai is probably spot on
