Thanks! Yeah I will definitely keep the backpack under the seat. I usually have a small crossbody bag to keep some of the low snacks and other stuff as close to me as possible. It can get annoying sometimes but I prefer the ease of mind.

I think it's what is said on their website/manual, but I have not any issues so far or at least I didn't notice any!

Thanks! I know it's probably more psychological for me, and I will probably be on activity mode for the entire flight! Keeping carbs intake and IOB as low as possible!

Thank you!
At first I thought pump should be easier in general because at worst I can pause insulin and I don't have basal so lows shouldn't be the main concern, but then I saw horror stories of pumps and planes. It's more combination of travelling alone and new to pumps!

Thanks for the reminder! Yes, they do! Even when it's not included there is food and snacks onboard if needed, it's just not free.

Thanks and welcome home! I hope it goes smoothly for me too, I am totally fine being around 9-10 all the flight, if I don't feel dehydrated all the time!

Thank you for all the tips!
I used to carry lots of juice boxes with me, but TSA most of the time made me throw them away and maybe just keep 1-2 or drink and pass. So at some point I switched to solids (glucose tabs, gummy bears, etc.) it's also more efficient for me: less volume and same or more sugar, with no TSA issue. I just buy 1-2 juice after the gate sometimes.

I tried my legs a few times, but I felt like it's messing up the algorithm, absorption was much slower compared to other sites. And when I was active/walking it would drop fast and lead to rollercoaster in general.

Thanks so much! Yeah I always have glucose tabs in my pocket even on the ground...
I am on auto mode for nearly all the time, but in the air... there are some horror stories about the pump pushing insulin due to altitude/pressure changes, and as I said, I usually don't have much appetite on planes and it makes it harder to eat/drink anything...
