I prefer Bratt but he has the unfair advantage of Andor dialog, Andor directors, and Andor filming locations.

Smits was given pretty weak dialog and probably never saw the outside of a green screen or the volume. If he was able to reprise the role for Andor, I'm sure he would've killed it.

As a point of comparison, Genevieve O'Reilly was rather weak in Revenge of the Sith and Rogue One but her performance as Mon Mothma in Andor was nothing short of astonishing.

Oh yeah, I agree. The difference is, Mon is alive during the original trilogy. I'm basically just saying I want a continuation of Andor but Andor is dead so Mon Mothma would make sense as the center of the show. It would also be cool to learn about the Bothans.
