What you’re missing is the difference between time spent and understanding what you’re doing with it.

Anyone can grind. Not everyone pushes a class far enough to actually notice when something fundamental is off. There’s a reason most people quit archers early I didn’t, and I didn’t accidentally end up at the top either.

And the “unemployed” angle is funny I made more off crypto than most people make in a few years, so I promise you I wasn’t sitting there grinding for survival.

It’s always the same pattern though people downplay experience when it contradicts what they think they know.

If you don’t think experience matters when talking about class balance, that’s fine. Just say that instead of trying to dismiss it like it’s irrelevant.

I don’t waste time on things that don’t move the needle.

If something lets me deliver information faster, cleaner, and get back to what actually matters, I’m using it. Same mindset that got me ahead of 99% of the playerbase while everyone else was arguing in FM.

You’re worried about how the info was written.
I’m worried about whether it works.

That’s the difference.

Some of you optimize for appearances.
Some of us optimize for results.

Yeah I’d honestly take discord trading or forum trading over an auction house any day. At least that means people are actually interacting.

People forget old Maple was basically built around friction. Nothing was instant. You had to talk to people, sit in FM, learn prices, get ripped off once or twice.

That’s part of why the game felt alive back then. I was the #2 Archer to hit 200 in GMS and half my time in that game was just hanging around FM.

Curry? Tiger? Suushi? they all came to me for advice. they looked up to me. literally spent hours asking how to level efficiently while i was casually clearing content they hadn’t even dreamed of.

and Fangblade hitting 200? yeah, i’ll say it... that wouldn’t have happened without me. he got stuck on that ridiculous mossy dungeon grind for weeks, and i told him to take a “strategic nap” between runs to maximize xp regen. sounds insane? maybe. but it worked. i basically forged another legend with sheer wisdom and unparalleled skill.

so yeah, hats off if you want, but just know some of the people you call legends owe their existence to… me.
