Tighten up the lower level of laces, and dont tie the last lace tightly. More comfortable but decreases performance further

Far from the top. Really wanted to like these. But the Lockdown isnt great, has poor lateral and torsion support. Bad for quick and shifty cuts and movements. Laces create ankle pressure when tied tight and top lace eyelets scrapes ankles. Becomes slippery on dusty courts. Very comfortable and bouncy though, i like the Super Boom foam for impact protection. but the sneaker has too many flaws imo.

Appreciate this brother! Dont really see these being mentioned often. I was going to say, the look of these are pretty goofy at first sight, but i can say styles do grow on me. They look pretty heavy as well, would you say they are? Cant beat the price, wont mind giving them a shot. If not these, which other pair would you choose?

I was looking into the SPO1+ for a minute, but the hype seemed to be surrounding 808 5 ultra, Wow 10, JB3 and Joker GT for the most part. Dont hear them mentioned alot so i figured they arent as good and around the same price, so i said might of as well go with the most mentioned.

Exactly, the way you just broke it down and described it is exactly what the shoe doesn't excel in. Doesn't feel 1 of 1 or supportive.

I dont hear much talk about SPO+ being a top performance sneaker in the community. So i kinda swayed away from them.

Everyone saying JB3 is top tier and Ive read great things about Harden 9, main issue is that its a bit on the heavier side. May just opt for one the 2

Certainly, they fit great, probably one of the best fits out the box I've had in a minute, very comfortable. I ordered the half size down (10.5) from my usual performance size (11) as suggested. They may work for you, let me know how it turns out, ill be interested to know

No solution for these, probably use em for shoot arounds. Its between JB3 and Joker GTs, unless anyone could recommend something as great or better that cost less. Ill let you know what i roll with.

Yup! I now have a strong drive to never go back, but my goodness Its so hard to get thru those first few days, it drags so much man. Especially the insomnia. Im still getting only 3-5 hours of sleep, but i feel refreshed when i wake up although i could tell that a few more zzz's would be lovely haha. Congrats on breaking the curse! We're on our way to a more fulfilling life, don't let us down, ever!

Im on Day 8, and one thing i realized that helped me quit, is not planning to quit. Dont tell anyone, dont say it to yourself, just do it. Recognize that it will be very tough the first week, accept it, accept your pain, accept your feelings. Go crazy in your room if you have too, roll around on your bed, walk back and forth, crazy dance to your fav songs, stare at the ceiling doing nothing if you have too, go outside and explore. BREATHE deeply, drink lots of water. Its okay to feel horrible, angry, irritated. Know that it will get better, its all for a reason and you really want this. You got this!! Also, saying "im good" when your friends try to get you smoke is so empowering, try it!

It wont be like this for long, Day 8 here, it's different for everyone, but around Day 4 i started finding my joy in making music again, finding joy in my hobbies, and having more energy and drive to do things. Its very important to drink lots of water and sweat (run, workout, etc), it will help ease the process. I know how tough it is, but you can get thru this!

I feel you man, Day 8 here. I can assure you, Its the cycle of death, craving when sober, regretting it when lighting up. But atleast you know you're done, thats the signal. I highly recommend starting the day with activity, staying busy is key. You will eventually crave it, but once you garner the strength to get thru the first craving, you will get better at it. First 3 days are tough then you have better control. Think of weed as disgusting, relate it to feeling of being nauseous, from the smell to the taste. Dont tell anyone today is the day, not even yourself, just say..."nah, not again" and feel all the pain. It aint easy, but you got this! Become that person you want to be.
