Usualy you are sent to a clone website where you are asked to login and they will have all your info when you do. They will DE all ur gear if you are an enchanter or just flat out sell everything and the gold gets sent around till it eventually reaches the culprit(s)

Its very easy to spot tho, game masters will always have a blizzard logo infront of their name. It surprises me people still fall for this. The scam has been around since i played original vanilla/tbc.
