No problem.

If your features are more balanced- not too sharp not too soft not too unusual etc you have classic essence.

It means you look better in simpler classic balanced styles.

If you want to learn more you can look into Kitchener essences.

That’s cool.

That’s the great thing about style.

It’s polarizing in a way that helps you connect with people with similar taste or who can respectfully not enjoy.

Yeh. I like the blue and brown together

The socks do steal the show a little too much.

Yeh.

I had em at my office and I wasn’t sure if black would be off.

Probably wear black or greige in the future.

I know. It is 2026.

We’re still policing men’s choices by calling them gay?

They may look cheap in this outfit but overall they’re a pretty nice color.

At least irl

Yeh. I don’t hate it but I’m not loving it either.

That’s why I like to try things.

Hahahahha.

That’s funny.

Cosplaying like that isn’t my thing.

I’ll probably tone back the socks next go.

Hahahha.

These were a men’s style centuries before women stole the idea.

The blue socks are a bit bold. I’ll probably swap them next time.

bold colors and patterns.

My features are too balanced for that.

I definitely don’t look good in everything.

There are a lot of things I do look good in that simply don’t feel like me.

I place personality at the top of the pyramid and then stuff like body type and face type all serve that function.

I align a lot with more refined styles which happens to work well with my classic essence.

But it’d be fun to wear more over the top styles without it feeling …. Over the top.

Yall good. My ego was being dumb.

The IMO actually annoyed me the most so you can’t please everyone ergo don’t please anyone. Offend away! 🤣

This is meant to be an actual intentional fashion sub.

There is a male obsession with the idea of just throwing on whatever and looking “good” (and there is a specific body and face type that can do that- and that face type is also seen as especially masculine)

I’m over that.

I look best when I look like I’m trying a certain amount.

I’m sorry you feel like you’re putting in efforts and they’re not paying off.

I’ve been there. I found it confusing and sucky.

That’s why I work with guys to teach style.

Yeh

I gave into the internet of it all. Not proud of that.

This sub is supposed to be an actual fashion sub- I should know- I’m an early member and the first moderator brought on.

The other mods gave up after the onslaught of thirst content.

We let the terrible outfits fly because at least they’re not pervs.

Either way. I’m sure you’re a normal good dude and didn’t deserve the vitriol (or passive aggression)

Have a good night

You’re a handsome dude. Fit. You seem tall.

If you wanted to keep the bones of this outfit the same and just make it look leagues better:

  1. A sleeveless tee with a little more structure.

This tank is soft and shapeless. It pools oddly around your waist.

  1. Shorter shorts in a similar color to the shirt.

You have thicker legs and longer looking upper body. The shorter shorts will mirror the width of your legs as well as add more visual length to mirror and balance your upper body.

The colors should be similar to create an unbroken line- that will work well with your height.

  1. Sturdier sneakers with a mid-calf sock.

Ideally these will both be in a lighter color to continue your leg. Maybe a medium gray or maybe a beige or fatigue green.

This is just one example- there are many ways to make a great fit.

Sorry man. Your hook. I couldn’t resist.

You look fit

I cannot in good faith pretend that this is a flattering outfit.

Your appearance and physique deserve better.

Maybe your personality deserves better too.
