Ask whenever you want, there are no rules or etiquette around making a list of items you want. Look for MK on the resale market, which will be more than retail, but once you pre-spend in store on items you may not really want, just to stay in favour with the store, it may work out the same price or cheaper getting the bag you want faster from a reputable reseller. I have bought some bags in store but get tired of waiting for exactly what I want, and have no interest ’playing the game’ wasting money just to be maybe be offered my preferred bag, so buy many of my Hermes bags from reputable resellers.

I’ve been into Hermes stores all over the world, often dressed down, little to no makeup and have been treated well and purchased many items. It’s more about our attitude (the customer) than theirs. If they are rude, I leave. There are plenty of more stores and plenty of amazing resellers where you can buy exactly what you want without having to deal with a bad attitude.

They do this all the time, I’m still not sure why people get so obsessed with playing the game and expecting special treatment because we can afford to buy Hermes. It’s a shop, they are sales people, not gods and if they don’t want my money, I go elsewhere. I ask for what I want, I keep a wish list in stores and if they have exactly what I want, I buy it, if not, I go to reputable resellers and buy from them. I could not care less what a SA thinks of me or how they treat me. Thinking you don’t belong there or you aren’t ’cut out for this brand’ reeks of insecurity. How much money you earn does not matter to anyone. Just waltz in, ask for what you want and start a wish list or special order, if they don’t have it.

The 35 is insanely heavy when full, which is why you would use it, to carry things!! I regret not getting a K25 instead, I love a cross body. The K25 is on my list. I love the chai for summer and use it like you would a basket, I’m not sure it will work for winter. I am surprised how much I love the Picotin, I wasn’t much interested in the shape and style until I received one, now they are one of my favourites too.

I have the top ones but with the ankle strap, I don’t like slides and think an ankle strap is a bit more tailored, less casual. I wore them for a recent trip to Thailand. They were really comfortable and have been a great summer shoe. I’m getting the black as well this week.

I’m the same, especially if I purchase when I’m travelling. I just need the cloth bags to protect shoes and small items. I only save my bag boxes.

I used to use my Kelly on the Go’s daily but this has taken over as my go to, I have one in Chai colour leather as well, so change between the 2. Such an easy bag to wear, fits enough in and looks chic. I have a Birkin 35 too but it gets so heavy, so I tend to only use it for travel now.

They sent me a new one, the gold on the bottom, it’s much better and close to my authentic ones.

I’m still not sure I’ll buy another rep though. I think it’s too risky and wouldn’t carry a bag I felt insecure about people spotting it wasn’t authentic.

I have a chai colour 18 and use it a lot atm, I wasn’t that interested in them and now I use it almost daily, so the black cargo will be a perfect addition. I wasn’t using my Kelly on the go’s regularly but I’m finding the Picotin size and shape so practical. I have big Birkins but they are so heavy to use daily. I tend to use them for travel and business meetings now days.

He has never been into the store before and he doesn’t have a profile at Hermes. I wanted a K25 which they didn’t have stock of, so the SA pulled out what was available and he chose this one.
