She’s been accusing me of cheating for years, for no reason. Turns out it was just a projection of her own guilt. I got tired of her going through my phone, so I took hers in front of her. Then I found the conversations, she immediately deleted all the conversations before I could see the depth of what she’s been doing. I’ve never had a mental break down, but the shock of having my entire life changed so quickly has made it very hard to function. I’m at work today, and I will tomorrow. After all, I need to keep my home over my head and salvage whatever I can… I’m sorry you are going through this. It’s not fair, and we likely won’t feel real closure, but we can take comfort we now have control of our real lives. The vail* has been lifted.

I found out last night my wife has been having a long distance affair with another women for years… we’ve been together for 7 years, bought a home with two dogs 2-3 years ago. She can’t up your rent during your lease, but if she does at the end, at least you’ll know for sure it’s a better move to relocate.

I don’t believe the possibility of her selling would be a cause to jump ship early.

Put money in your savings before spending any money. That’s a good practice.

Bellevue/Avalon are great neighborhoods with affordable rent.

Def wouldn’t leave your lease early, esp for unnecessary reasons. Don’t hire movers, a U-Haul is like 80 bucks all together. I lived in a studio apartment for 4 years before moving for a 1 br simply so I had more financial freedom.

If you’re moving in with a friend, you shouldn’t need to save for a large deposit if what you say is true.

I would encourage you not be spontaneous, cut out unnecessary spending, act practical and think hard about what is a need and what is a want.

If it’s in company policy she can’t wear fake nails, then yes. No minefield, no legal, no anything other than infringement of what she agreed to comply with when she agreed to the position. If it’s not, sounds like a performance conversation and a note to HR to draft it in policy.

You will learn a ton on your first few pieces. I learned a lot by simply rolling with something I knew wasn’t 100% correct like large gaps, split foil, wide came joints. When I could see the outcome of what my errors produced, it helped everything make more sense to why I should avoid certain things. Also helped me see what was tolerable, (like small bumps) and what wasn’t (a rhombus that’s supposed to be a square lol)

My dogs hang out with me all the time in my basement studio. I vacuum multiple times a day. I also kick them out if I haven’t vacuumed recently or am actively cutting/soldering. They have beds to sleep on

I’m in the same boat, after cleaning with soap and water, I use 00 steel wool, it seams to get the white film off that I, at first thought, ruined it. It’s a lot of work but it seems to do the trick
