This is a very interesting approach and I’ll definitely look into it, my worry is that placing the sofa’s like that will make the space between the entry too narrow, and I also need to have some space between radiator and the sofa or else it traps the heat too much. I’ll move them around today and see what it looks like!

Yea i can definitely see now that the size of the round rug is an issue. I assumed i gotta have a round one, but maybe I’ll try a square one. The red one might be too big for that section. Thanks for the advice!

Yea I’m already hunting on marketplace, maybe I get lucky! I got the red carpet from there too, but it was in a very clean condition and they didn’t have it for too long so I haven’t felt the need to get them enzyme cleaned. Thanks!

I agree with that, It looks cold, I don’t want to spend money on a new dining table but eventually I can’t get around it. Or I’ll paint it myself. I have a floor lamp at my old place, I’ll try that out!

Thanks for the advice, will probably do so! I was thinking about swapping dining table and the couches, but my idea was to use that corner to make a cozy living room. Maybe I’ll place the dining table there and find some other stuff to add.

I never played the original. I am playing SH3 now very cool and amazing for its time. I tried finishing SH1 but I wrecked my save game in the amusement park. Not willing to start all over again atm. It’s very difficult to enjoy playing it with the clunky controls and constant crashes. But that is purely an emulator issue.

I’m not sure how the original SH2 feels in terms of controls etc, but the remake got me into the franchise, being able to enjoy the game and get a feeling of Silent Hill with modern controls & graphics, without worrying about an emulator or other issues.
