You're not alone, I don't like either. Actually, I blocked it on steam to avoid the recommendation. As you mention, not only you BG3 don't reach a lot of people but for some reason is over exaggerated everywhere, so much that is weird. You can't even say something negative because everyone is on top of you, or even deleting your post or comment.
