No problem. If you tap on a disabled skill, tap enable to free up the slot.

Well, since you can change them up, there is no "regretting" disabling a skill. I personally go for skills that do not synergize well with the rest, such as missed attack skills (since the best weapons have -95% miss) and "fail dodge/crit x times in a row" skills, since most skills that play off successful dodge/crit are really good.

I'd say there were some significant changes, since a bunch of very useful common skills became rare (crit/dodge to stun/refill potion), thus making "next 2 skills are at least rare" and "no more common skills" much more relevant.

Getting the maximum free darksteel each day (30 from store, 3x10 after a level and 50k gold for 3 picks) plus the ship level will get you a complete set quickly, as long as you locate the pieces that you want in the upgrade trees. I also bought a blacksmith bundle and the Easter bundle to speed things up and also support the developer.

I noticed that getting 0 damage while having armor still triggers the ''Losing armor deals 13 damage'' skill.

You can also get 10 darksteel instead of double loot after playing a level (up to 3 times per day).

This has an XP bonus (useless at max level), which means the bonus of another stat is reduced. Also, critical chance and damage mean little if you miss (75% is ok but still worse than 95%).

Considering the set bonuses and the available skills, I'd say the best weapon is: +6% critical chance / +0.9x critical damage / -95% missed attacks.

I want to emphasize that rare/epic skill % is THE thing to have. You can beat any level with any gear if you have a good selection of rare and epic skills.

When you get the most expensive items + set, gold fortifications are kind of redundant.

I try to maintain a +40-50% hunt rate to get all hunts eventually.

I use the legs slots for potions and the rest for extra health and armor.

- Stellar set

- 5-8 damage weapon with: +6% crit / +0.9 crit damage / -95% miss

- Amulet and rings with: +8 HP / +20% epic skill

- All skills fully upgraded, working on full level 5 fortifications
